Racing Greens has two apartments assessed by VisitEngland, our Garden apartment is rated 4 star and the Beach apartment 4 star with a Gold award for quality.
Both have one bedroom but have a different character and are individually styled with beach and seaside themes, but our high standards for cleanliness and hospitality are the same. Our excellent location gives you easy access to the beach, river and town of Littlehampton; great for stays for holidays, business or between house moves.

Both apartments have free Wi-fi; central heating; Freeview TV; CD player, radio and DVD player. Kitchens are fully equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine.
This is our GARDEN APARTMENT - accessed via the back garden which is yours to enjoy and not shared with other guests. Garden table, chairs and barbecue are available.
There are 6 steps up from the garden into the apartment which was once the Victorian kitchen to the property.

The first room is the lounge / diner with its daybed, which is a settee, or becomes a single bed if required (3ft/0.9mtrs wide). There is another single bed for use here, or in the bedroom. Both of these single beds have proper mattresses. There are two easy chairs, dining table and chairs for four people. Flatscreen TV with freeview channels.

The double bedroom has a kingsize bed (5ft/1.5mtrs wide). If you need to add a child's bed or your own travel cot there is space but this is a little more cramped.
This bathroom has a corner bath with an over-shower and it is ensuite to the bedroom. Any guests in this apartment must walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom – please consider if this is acceptable for you.

There are 4 steps leading from the lounge into the kitchen which is fully equipped.

Our second apartment (see separate entry) is our BEACH APARTMENT. This is on the front of the house with 2 steps down from street level. As this is all on the same level it can be useful for those with mobility problems, but it is not fully wheelchair accessible.

Double patio doors open into the roomy lounge/diner. There is a daybed, which is a settee, or can be used as a single bed (with proper mattress - 3ft/0.9mtrs wide). There is another single bed for use here, or in the bedroom. There is also a settee, dining table and chairs, and 32” flat screen TV.
The bedroom can be used as a twin or triple room with 3 single beds (3ft/0.9mtrs wide) or 1 superking double bed (6ft/1.8mtrs wide), and a single. There is room to add another single bed or stand your own travel cot if required.
There is a small central hallway to get to the bathroom with its large walk-in shower and toilet.

Free off road parking is available in the nearby car park using one of our permits.

The apartments are suitable for a variety of guests - single people, couples or families. Racing Greens is a great place for several families to get together and with 2 rooms in our bed and breakfast we have played host to grandparents and other family members.

Getting around

Littlehampton town is on the flat and it is easy to walk to it’s shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. There is a lovely walkway along the riverbank and this continues along the River Arun to Arundel and its access to the South Downs. Cyclists have a range of flat local routes - bring your bikes or hire them nearby. Bus routes and train services serve other towns such as Chichester, Arundel and Worthing.
