We had an amazing stay at the Limone in May 2018! The villa was very comfortable, secure, well equipped, and clean. The view out our window/ balcony was to die for! Vincenzo responded to our every request. The villa was a ten minute walk to dinner, grocery, bus and cab. Minori was so much quieter than Amalfi and Positano. We can’t wait to go back!
From the moment we arrived at our villa we fell in love with everything about it: the views from every room, comfortable beds in each bedroom, well appointed baths, everything we needed in the kitchen..we lacked for nothing. Franco met us the night we arrived and was so helpful in making us feel at home. Miss Norma was also available to us to answer questions about what we must see during our weeks stay, and helped us when we had questions ie. how to run the washing machine in the villa. The location of the villa was between Minori and amalfi Town and we looked right out over the sea. A perfect location to check out all the beautiful sights on the amalfi Coast. The only issue we had was an issue with warm water in the showers, but that was minor and being worked on. We loved this place, would highly recommend it and we'll return for sure God willing.
“Almost too good to be true!”
We are two couples who stayed in the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment for five nights in September. It was perfect! Spacious, attractively decorated, well-furnished kitchen, and the most beautiful views imaginable. So many outdoor spaces to enjoy: the balconies, the large patio, and the gorgeous pool We all decided we could live in the apartment, particularly if Franco were there to help us park the car and answer our questions. He was very helpful. And staying in Minori was a delight. Not overcrowded with tourists. We loved walking into town each evening (despite the narrow road) and trying the local restaurants--three we found to be very good. One final point: the apartment was quiet. Though the living area overlooked the narrow amalfi Coast road, the bedrooms were away from the street. We all slept well.
We had a wonderful time at Limone. The apartment is much larger and more beautiful than the pictures on the website make it seem. Franco, the caretaker of the property, was outstanding and always around to help out. He gave us great recos and booked a great boat tour for the day for us. The property is full of fresh fruit and veggie trees such as tomatoes, grapes, eggplant, basil and pears, that are there for the taking. The views are amazing and the local area, including the town of Minori, were wonderful. We can't wait to come back again! We had a real 'five star' experience. I would point out a couple of things that the property owners should look into: 1. The mattresses, at least in our unit, are in desperate need of replacing. Ours were hard, lumpy and totally uncomfortable so we didn't get much sleep. 2. I agree with the previous unit that Limone's patio area could use a little TLC. The other units seem to have nicer outdoor space. However, Limome is on the top floor, which we particularly liked, so it was a reasonable trade off in our view. 3. Agree that the wifi was rather slow at times.
“The most amazing place to stay”
Spent 4 wonderful days in a beautiful 2 bedroom villa. Everyone with booking helpful. Place was immaculate great location. The views from balcony breathtaking . Pool was amazing. We had great relaxing time here
This was a beautiful place to stay would recommend to all and Franco who met us was great at explaining how to get around and specific places to see.The apartment was spacious and the views were great.
“Albicocca perfect location”
Our stay in july 2011 at the albicocca in amalfivacation was a wonderful experience. Plenty of room in our 2 bedroom + fam/rm villa with a gorgeous outdoor bbq area shaded by lemon trees and bougainvillea plants. A little walk into the town of Minori provided us with fresh fruit and vegies as well as all the other delights such as beautiful pastries from the " pasticceria". The local people were very friendly and very helpful . The few steps to the " infinity" pool were well worth the climb as the view was amazing and my daughters and I spent many hours just admiring the amalfi view from that pool! Franco and staff extremely helpful, we cant wait to revisit in a few years time for my husband's 50th!! ( without children this time )Cheers
“Location, Views, Convenience, Staff, Amenities, Cleanliness, Com”
My group of 8 adults rented the albicocca and Limone apartments for a glorious 5 night stay. Being the world travelers that we are, we can find no negative comments with our accommodations other than we wish we could have stayed longer. The location has 2 distinct advantages. 1) the bus stops literally in front of the building making public transportation up and down the amalfi Coast a breeze and 2) it's an easy walk into the town of Minori where you will find great food, great pastry and a great beach. And the 3,000 step walkway path to Ravello is easily accessible. Awsome hike! Views from every room are incredible. And we had the advantage of a full moon during our stay. Magnificent! The patio areas for all apartments are spectacular. We felt like we were seated in an Italian countryside, totally isolated from the world with the added advantage of overlooking the amalfi Coast, wonderfully framed by the Mediterranean Sea. The pool and surrounding areas are wonderful as well. Unfortunately the air temperature during our stay was a little too cool for any of us to brave the pool. And did I mention the lemon trees on the property? If you love lemons, you'll be in heaven. Inside each apartment we found all the amenities one could possibly need. We were able to cook for 8 with plenty of everything found in the kitchens. And the comfort and cleanliness can't be beat- even by a 5 star establishment. But most of all it is the staff we would like to recognize. From the very beginning when deciding on where to stay, Vincenzo kindly and promptly answered email after email of questions regarding all aspects of our time spent on the amalfi Coast. And believe me, he went above and beyond the normal range of travel questions, never faltering to find the answers. And once we arrived, Norma and Franco saw to our every detail, even those that extended outside property management. Our opinion is that you won't be disappointed staying here and we highly recommend this property.
“A gem on the amalfi coast”
Highly recommend, super service and location, we will be back.
“A Wonderful Vacation”
We stayed at Limone with our two teenaged sons. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. We loved our apartment. It was very clean and nicely decorated, and it had the most beautiful views of the amalfi coast. We used the outdoor patio, covered in lemon vines, every day, It was a nice place to relax and read. We used the beautiful pool and enjoyed the spectacular views while sunning ourselves. We enjoyed the location of the apartment and walked to Minori several times a day. A word of caution, there is a lot of noise from the road directly on which the property sits. We didn't mind it. It almost added to the "Italian ambiance". We will definitely stay in one of the Pagliarulo apartments on our next trip to Italy.
Response from the owner In regard to the noise from the street, we are glad to inform that since Mrs. Porreca stayed in our apartment Limone (May 2009) , doors and windows have been changed and now are soundproof.
