Overlooking beautiful Moreton Bay with panoramic views, the Blue Beach House offers guests private, indulgent accommodation at the Tangalooma Island Resort. Our guests have full use of Tangalooma Island Resort's huge variety of fun, educational and energetic activities and tours. Go for a ATV quad bike ride, try sand tobogganing at Moreton Island's desert, go parasailing or jet skiing in Moreton Bay, snorkel the Tangalooma Wrecks, try a 4WD Segway tour the Tangalooma beach front. Join Tangalooma's informative marine education staff on a Moreton Bay Marine Discovery Cruise or a Whale Watch cruise. You'll be amazed at the variety of marine life in and around Moreton Island. As an added highlight, each night at sunset, Tangalooma Island Resort plays host to a pod of Moreton Bay's wild bottle nose dolphins. These lovely creatures entertain us mere mortals by hunting, surfing and playing around with fellow pod members. The Tangalooma Jetty is the perfect position to watch the dolphin's antics, guests can also choose to participate in the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin feeding program.

Moreton Island offers many unique and unspoiled destinations. Take your 4WD vehicle for a Moreton Island tour and visit Cape Moreton Lighthouse, fresh water Blue Lagoon, Mt Tempest, Champagne Pools or beautiful Honeymoon Bay. The Tangalooma Island Resort also provides hosted 4WD bus tours to all of Moreton Island's landmarks and also hire's 4WD vehicles for the self drive experience.

However if you wish to just take it easy then the Blue Beach House is in the perfect position to put one's feet up and enjoy the tranquillity, cool breezes and gorgeous vista of Moreton Bay and Moreton Island. Enjoy a variety of different vessels from small yachts to large passenger ships meandering to and from the ocean to Brisbane ports. The mysterious Tangalooma ship wrecks, a haven for small craft and a snorkeler's nirvana, are also in full view from the Blue Beach House front deck.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Melissa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
