Have you ever dreamed of spending your holidays in a peaceful, traditional stone-built house, which is 120 years old, tucked and hidden in a vast olive grove, with 15 different kinds of trees, a big swimming pool and amazing views to the surrounding mountains and hills?Do you love the idea of being in a safe but secluded and peaceful haven, strategically situated between hills and sea, but with easy access to everything which you need (only 12 km from the modern university city of Volos)?If your answers to the above are in the affirmative, you have found the right place in our property!!Villa Olive will cater to your every need for that ideal escapade which you have been planning for. It is one of only three villas located in an area of 2 square km without any disturbances from traffic noise or human activities. Ideal for those who are looking to just lie back and relax, we are sure the big swimming pool which is surrounded by an enormous garden of palm trees, fruit trees (cherry, apricot, fig, plum and peach) and fragrant roses, will prove too inviting to be resisted. You can swim and splash in the pool while admiring the spectacular views of the nearby mountains while the meat is being cooked on a specially designed BBQ pit, ready to be enjoyed outdoors with only the sky as your canopy. There is also a shaded bar (without drinks!) next to the pool for you to cool down in the afternoons – a perfect place to chat and drink to your hearts' content!The villa is a two-story building which consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 living/sitting room with a fireplace (which can be converted into a bedroom with 2 good quality sofa beds), a kitchen with small dining area, 3 shower rooms (1 ensuite) with sinks and toilets. It can sleep comfortably up to 6 people. On the ground floor : an entrance area, a spacious living room which can be used as a bedroom with 2 sofa beds. This living room has a separate private entrance and a fireplace. Also on the ground floor there is a shower room with sink and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, oven, 4 ring cooking hobs and hood, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle), a small dining area with stairs leading up to the first floor. A bigger dining area is located outdoor (a stone table under a hatch roof gazebo).On the first floor : 2 double bedrooms (1 with a queen size bed with ensuite shower and the other with 2 single beds). Both rooms have windows with magnificent views of the surrounding area. The interior design is a combination of chic rustic elements to the traditional approach, taken into account every single detail with the aim to sustain 'harmony' with its original features and not to overlap and cluster with the powerful beauty of the natural materials of white and grey stones, deep brown wood and rustic shade of marble. The interior decoration fuses cozy traditional elements with stylish eclectic finishes. Wooden floors, countryside cupboards, ceramic tiles in colorful patterns, a fireplace along with a personal selection of furniture, artwork and antiques, create an idyllic atmosphere for you to enjoy.Outdoors : dining area under a hatch roof gazebo, swimming pool, barbecue pit, stove oven, garden, washing machine, shower room next to the pool (with toilet and sink).Other useful Information:The house is accessible in one minute drive from the main road. It has private parking for 6 cars. The nearest petrol station is 2 minutes away. The nearest bakery, taverna and grocery shop are within 10 minute walking distance. The nearest ATM is 4km away. In case of emergency, Volos hospital can be reached in 20 minutes.Closest Airport: Nea Anchialos (VOL) 35km driveBus/ Train stations and Port are in Volos town - 12km drive
