Description

Studio apartment Nika is situated on Mala ulica in the quiet area of historical city center, in the ground floor of a traditional 19th century building; just a step away from the famous Three Bridges, main Preseren Square and central open air fruit and vegetable market. The 36 m2 large studio has air-condition, a king size double bed (180 x 200cm) and a sofa bed (90x180cm), functional kitchen area with stove, oven and big refrigerator, dining table for four and bathroom with shower. It is equipped with all the needed cooking utensils, cutlery, toaster, washing machine, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, CATV, telephone, hi-fi, high speed internet (Wi-Fi). Towels and linen are provided.

Studio has its own parking lot (extra charge) for personal vehicles that do not exceed the usual size of 5m. Reservations must be made in advance.

TOUR AS since 1993 offer a comfort and privacy for those who want to feel at home and use many services as in Ljubljana's hotels. In addition to selection of accommodations in Ljubljana you can find with us some proposals of individual trips around Slovenia, where our driver can take you or you can hire a car from our offer. We also organize transports from neighboring airports to our accommodations. With one reception in the center of Ljubljana, we operate as a spread hotel, which enables a high quality accommodation.

Getting around

During the day within the car-free city centre area can easily be overcome on foot or if you hop on an environment-friendly electric vehicle called Kavalir (Gallant Helper) - accommodates up to five people, rides are free of charge. Simple, environment-friendly and cost-effective means of transport is also a city bike Bicikelj, which you can use after on-line registration on their website. All 30+ parking stations are located within 500 meters of each other and guarantee a quick and easy access to the bikes. The first hour of each ride is free. To use a Ljubljana city public bus it is necessary to buy the Urbana public transport card - available at public utility company (LPP) ticket office, Tourist Info Centers, kiosks, post offices...

Interaction with guest

I give my guests space but am available when needed. Interaction with guests depends on their needs. If guests want to have a complete privacy we meet them only upon their arrival and at their departure. If guests have any requests, if they want to order a supplementary service in the accommodation, a trip, a rent a car etc. we interact more often. At central reception we are available from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm (during summer till 6:00pm), Saturdays 8:30am to 1:00pm, or by e-mail and telephone. In case of emergencies we have an agent on duty available over the telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Response from the owner Thank you for leaving a review of your stay. Unfortunately in the city there are truly many graffiti which are not very attractive, but there is not much we as a host can do about it except to try to explain our guests that it is some sort of a street art expression which doesn't relate to a crime or any violence in the city. The city of Ljubljana and also Slovenia it self are well known as one of the safest places to visit in Europe. Due to a limited parking area in the old town our parking lot is smaller and parking there depends also on individual driving experiences. Certainly, if you are used to an automatic car and you get a manual at rent-a-car company this also influences on driving in foreign country. If guests have any troubles with parking here during their stay, we are always available for assistance as well, like it was in this case. The rented Nika Studio apartment unfortunately doesn't have an air condition, that is why it is also not mentioned in the description of the apartment nor it is advertised as an apartment with the air-condition. Electric fan can be provided at any time when needed to help during the hot days in summer. For summer travelers we suggest making a reservation of apartment with air condition if you expect to have it - if it is not mentioned in the description of the accommodation you can expect not to have it in your reserved accommodation.
