At the flagship Sungai Jungle Villa I (previously Villa Sungai), three king-bedrooms with deeply comfortable oversize canopied beds that you will never wish to leave, imported linen, plush feather and down duvets, unlimited giant pillows/bath sheets, Chopard and bespoke natural bathroom amenities; all looking out to your private 18m pool, the river, lush tropical canopies interspersed with frangipanis, and the leisure pavilions with Bose sound, and yet you are just 20 mins from the latest hotspot Canggu in round-the-clock chauffeured comfort (at cost). A truly sophisticated and indulgent place to escape for couples/families/friends that will change your perceptions of what to expect on holiday.

Getting around

The villa comes with a car and driver that is dedicated to you. Transfers from the airport or hotel are provided each way (one 7-seater vehicle) FOC. Subsequent car use is charged at USD35 per day for up to 8 hours and then USD30 per hour thereafter (USD 50 per day for ad hoc bookings). Guests can arrange scooters, however, most guests take advantage of having their chauffeur for all their touring/sightseeing/dining out/ shopping trips. You will get to know your drivers well because they are on staff, not contracted like at resorts.

Interaction with guest

From the minute of first enquiry the owner will handle your booking. You will be sent an electronic booking form to complete so that the villa manager and his team understand as much about what you wish to achieve prior to your arrival so as to minimise time wasted on planning that could have been done prior to check-in. The guest services manager MADE takes over from the owner as he meets the guests at the airport or other hotel and will act as concierge to help with planning for the entire visit. The villa is fully staffed so you are getting the inclusions and service of a high-end resort but with total privacy. Whether you book 1 or 3 guest rooms the entire property is yours to enjoy alone.

How do damage deposits work?

If Pamela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
