“Beautiful place and very nice hosts”
We just recently stayed at the Mahler House in mid april and had an excellent experience. From the Zimmers/B&Bs; we stayed at in Israel during our 10 days there, we loved this the most. Ruthie and avi are such a warm and helpful couple and made us feel very much at home. Their house is meticulously kept and lovingly decorated (partially with Ruthies own pottery) and had blossoming vegatation and fragrant potted plants all around it. The house sits in a beautiful location on top of a hill in a quiet neighborhood with sweeping views of the Golan Hills and Lake Kinnereth. We had two rooms on the top floor each with its own bathroom and small kitchenette and with balconies from one of which we could watch the sunrise over the Golan. Ruthie's breakfast was impressive with homemade bread and salads, fresh fruit, etc. Since we are not big breakfast eaters, we requested a more European breakfast which then was also very delicious (Ruthie was very accommodating). Rosh Pina is a very pretty little town with a lot of atmosphere. We found it very relaxing to stay here and stroll around, and we also very much liked the two restaurants that were recommended to us, both with very nice views (one of them in Rosh Pina and the other one also very closeby); they had outdoor seating with great views, very nice food, in particular fish - I don't eat meat - and a very pleasant atmosphere. There are two very special dogs at the Mahler House, and especially since I missed mine at home I enjoyed petting them. I also enjoyed talking to Ruthie about her country and her family. Altogether we have very fond memories and recommend this house and its wonderful owners highly.
Response from the owner Dear Bettina and Douglas, We were very happy to have you as our guests and equally happy that you enjoyed the stay. Hope to see you soon again! Be well, Ruthi and Avi

My wife and I Just stayed at the Hoe of avi and Ruthi, the accommodations were very comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was spectacular with enough food for lunch! Ruthi is an amazing cook, Both avi and Ruthi were so helpful for touring recommendations, restaurants and general conversation. We cannot recommend their guest house more highly, Thanks avi and Ruthi... Steven and Karen San Diego, California
Response from the owner Dear Steven and Karen, Thank you for the review. I hope the rest of your visit to Israel was enjoyable and hope to see you soon again with the rest of the family. Chag Sameach, Ruthi & Avi
“Warm welcome, lovely home”
My family spent a couple of wonderful days at the Mahlers' beautiful home. Avi and Ruthie were great hosts, greeting us warmly upon our arrival, advising us about where to eat and what sites to see, and cooking us abundant and delicious breakfasts. There was plenty of room for my husband and me and our four children. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to tour the Gallil during the day, then return to a comfortable and friendly home in the evening. Thank you, Ruthie and avi, for a memorable visit (and for your Challah recipe, Ruhie!).
Response from the owner Hi Shira, Thank you for the warm review. I am waiting to hear how did your challah came out! And of course would love to see you again on your next visit to Israel. Give our best regards to the family, Ruthi
“Home away from Home”
It's the people you meet along your journey that make your trip memorable. Avi and Ruthi are two very special people and were the ultimate host and hostess. We recently spent 3 nights at their charming B&B; overlooking the Sea of Galilee. It was a very comfortable and welcoming home and the breakfast every morning was fantastic!! However, what makes avi and Ruthi exceptional is how they cared so lovingly for my daughter in law when she was sick. They couldn't have been kinder. We will forever be grateful to both of them.
Response from the owner Dear Sugi, Thank you for the kind words. We were worried about you if you all got home OK - you went back to the storm! Thank you again for staying at our B&B, Best regards, Ruthi
“Fabulous stay at Mahler's Guesthouse”
Our recent stay at avi and Ruthi Mahler's Guesthouse could not have been more perfect for our family of 7 adults to explore the Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights and more. The stunning views over the Sea of Galilee from the terrace were a gorgeous way to start the day even in the brisk temperatures this time of year. Ruthi's breakfasts included incredible spreads of traditional Israeli foods, all deliciously home-cooked from scratch- even the breads, marmalades and jams! Ruthi and avi are the perfect hosts, always ready to help enrich our sight-seeing itinerary, call ahead to restaurants for dinner, share insights into their wonderful country and teach our adult children how to recreate their fabulous foods back in the States. We began our 2 week trip in Israel at avi and Ruthi's, and we have talked about our wonderful hosts and those tasty breakfasts every day since! We truly feel we have made some great friends in the Mahler's and would love to return to their guesthouse again some day. We highly recommend this beautiful B&B;!!!
Response from the owner Dear Family Brown, Thank you for the review. I am happy to hear that the rest of your stay in Israel was enjoyable and hope to see some of you in Israel again. Best regards, Ruthi
“Excellent experience at the Mahler's house”
This Bed and Breakfast facility truly is an excellent choice for a visit to the Safed and the Rosh Pina area. The place is beautifully well kept, very clean and very well equipped. The grounds are beautiful, with a lot of lovely pottery and flowers, mature trees and a magnificent view of the Sea of Galilee. The owners, Ruti and avi are a lovely couple. They tried to make us feel comfortable and at home at all times. They truly are dedicated and interested in providing the best possible level of care and attention to detail to make their guest feel at home. Ruti is a gourmet cook and she surprised us every morning what an incredible display of freshly prepared food, including home baked breads and rolls, and a never ending variety of delicious dishes. If you can, try to stay at the room with the Jacuzzi, it has a balcony with a beautiful view. We can only speak highly of the Mahler's House. We will remember our visit for a long time and we look forward to returning for a visit. We miss Ruti's warmth and their amazing hospitality. It was a memorable time during our visit to beautiful Israel. Highly recommend it.
Response from the owner Dear Perla and David, Thank you for he beautiful review and for your e-mail to us as well. I will send you some recepies - just need to convert them to English so it will take a few days. We wish you and all your family a healthy and happy New Year. Best regards, Ruthi & Avi
“Scenic and convenient”
A very nice B & B with a great view of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) from our bedroom balcony. The jacuzzi tub in our room was a nice bonus after a long day of hiking. Friendly, charming hosts Ruthi and avi couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. Ruthi makes everything on the breakfast table from scratch. Breakfast was amazing each morning. The location is quite convenient as a base to explore the north, including the Golan. Would definitely consider another stay.
Response from the owner Dear Rob and Vicky, Thank you very much for your kind word. I hope you have enjoyed the rest of your short stay in Israel and hope to see you again some other time. Best regards, Ruthi & Avi
“Best breakfast on world”
We really enjoyed our time in Mahlers guesthouse. ruthi wrote us an excellent description so we find the guesthouse immediately. She gave us very good advices for our Sightseeing tours around the lake of galilea. Her handmade breakfast was the best preparation for the day. In each case we would choose this accomodation again
Response from the owner Dear Sibylle, Thank you very much. We enjoyed your stay as well and hope to see you and your family some time again. Best regards, Avi & Ruthi
