Description
Villa Morocco is situated in a fantastic sea view location on the Ionian coast, near Santa Maria di Leuca, which is the “tip of the heel”, where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. The location of Villa Morocco is quite special: it is very close to the beautiful white beaches and crystal clear sea (only 1500 metres, five minutes' drive) but at the same time it has the charm of an old “masseria”, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of its very large, mature Mediterranean garden with tall trees, flowering shrubs, ancient olive grove, palms and oleanders. The villa is also very conveniently situated for sightseeing, in fact the tourist towns are within easy reach since the junction of the highway is quite near (just 7 km).Villa Morocco stands on the rock, and it is built around a large Mediterranean inner court with potted palms and citrus trees. It is U-shaped and it is divided into self-standing, completely independent apartments. Each apartment has two doors (one leading to the patio or the garden and one to the inner court), its own private outdoor areas (large shaded patio and roof terrace or private garden) besides the villa grounds. Each unit has its own private shaded parking space inside the property. Delightful sea views can be enjoyed from the villa and the garden. Sydney is a charming one-bedroom small apartment. It consists in an entrance, a living room-kitchen with comfortable sofa-bed (double bed), a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower enclosure. It is well furnished and features the modern conveniences: fridge, freezer, 4-ring cooker, dishwasher, electric oven, air conditioning, ceiling-fans, LCD flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, access to washing machine and to outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Kitchen and tableware are provided, as well as a hairdryer. In the bedroom the comfortable double bed is made of wood in the typical local style, and over it there's an azulejos wall decoration; the wooden built-in wardrobe has two drawers. All the windows are fitted with mosquito nets and wooden shutters. A French window leads from the living-room-kitchen to a private garden, shaded by a wisteria bower. The private garden, with outdoor furniture, is perfect for al fresco dining or for cooking with the camping barbecue. The covered parking place of the apartment Sydney is inside the property.
