Absolutely right on the beach at the quieter north end of Paternoster is our house, Ceol na Mara - Irish for Music of the Waves - and its adjoining flatlet - Ceoleen (Little Music).

Ceol na Mara is a double volume house with a gallery bedroom, garden, balcony and outdoor braai area and direct private access to the beach. Ceoleen is a smaller unit within the same plot but separate the main house.


Ceol na Mara sleeps 4+2. There is a queen bed in the gallery (loft) bedroom with an ensuite shower room. The downstairs bedroom has two extra length singles and an ensuite bathroom with bath. There is a double sleeper couch in the living area (which is overlooked by the gallery bedroom) with access to a separate shower room.

Ceoleen sleeps 2+2 with access via an outside staircase. There is a double bed in the separate bedroom and a double sleeper couch in the living area. There is one shower room which leads off the kitchen.

We've made sure that both properties are fully equipped, including hair driers, Wi-Fi and TV/DStv. Heating is by the cosy wood burning stove and electric panels.

Please note that the rates quoted are for Ceol na Mara only. Please enquire for rates for Ceoleen and for both units together.

Please consider your circumstances carefully before making an enquiry and to whether Ceol na Mara and Ceoleen would be suitable for a party of more than six. You may find it overcrowded and lacking in privacy. We’d rather disappoint you now than have you disappointed during your stay.

If Christopher (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
