Description

The Coach House is an historic building and was originally the stopping point for the horse drawn coaches along The Antrim Coast. Housing three separate apartments, of which two are self catering units, The Loft Apartment and The Stables Apartment. Surrounded by numerous historic landmarks and Game of Thrones had a heavy presence at Garron Point during filming of the series. Again for Game of Thrones fans various filming locations are either within walking distance or a short drive away. This area is one of Antrim Coast and Glens Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the breathtaking views and uninterrupted sea views stretching over to The Mull of Kintyre in Scotland from the accommodation are spectacular. Located halfway between Carnlough and Glenariff (The Queen of the Glens). A perfect base to discover the unspoilt coastline, towns and villages, history and heritage, top visitor attractions and places of interest, The Giants Causeway just an hours drive away and of course numerous iconic Game Of Thrones film locations. With panoramic sea views over The Irish Sea to The Mull of Kintyre in Scotland.

You will be in a self catering property with basic essentials i.e. bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, fully furnished, essential appliances, hot water and heating but cater for yourself. As a good quality holiday cottage we provide extras like a ‘starter’ roll of toilet paper, teabags, coffee, sugar, and milk.

“Oh How we wish we were there....”

What can I say about our stay at the Loft appartment..... Its a total gem in the Irish countryside. We have totally enjoyed our stay, relaxing, good quality, your every need provided for... And Gillian, was the perfect host, we will definitely be going back.

“Disappointed”

Not suitable for us too remote, cold and damp could not use central heating owner told use to use small heaters in lounge and bedroom. Cottage had an aroma of cooking not a pleasant experience.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review. In response. When you arrived you were disappointed even before you entered the property. As in your own words the location was too far from the local pubs. Arriving on a warm August afternoon the apartment was certainly not cold or damp. Central heating could have been available if you had asked but most guests in the summer find full central heating is not necessary and as you had made your mind up as soon as you arrived that you were not going to stay then there was little point in turning the central heating on. As a self catering accommodation guests do cook and the previous guests had only left a couple hours before you arrived. I agree there was a slight aroma of cooking this would have dispersed within a short space of time. Thank you again reviews are always appreciated

The Loft apartment is simply amazing, very clean, had everything we needed and the sea view from the living room is incredible. The apartment was extremely cosy and just a fab little place. It's in an excellent location for exploring the Causeway coast and the surrounding area. Gillian was a fantastic host and very friendly during our stay. We will definitely be back.

How do damage deposits work?
