Description

You don't have to be on your honeymoon to enjoy our 'honeymoon hideaway retreat'. Set in a private garden with access to a private pool, it's the perfect romantic setting, right in the heart of Sintra, Portugal's capital of romance! The cottage exterior shows inspiration from a typical Alentejo style cottage but step inside and it is far from typical. As you bow your head to go through the old original door you are greeted by a double height space with a mezzanine floor, on which is set a pretty double bedroom. The 'saloio' (peasant) style kitchen has everything you need, including ceramic hob and washing machine, and the bathroom is stylish and modern.The stone floor throughout has underfloor heating, a rare find in Portugal, and the whole building is fully insulated, making it great for cosy winter stays.

Response from the owner We're so pleased you enjoyed your time with us, we certainly enjoyed getting to know you. You are right, you certainly don't require a car to be able to see all that Sintra has to offer, as we are very well located. However for anyone who does arrive by car, we always guarantee a space in the square outside the house.
