Marisa Residences are tastefully designed and contemporary studio bungalows with a private swimming pool and overlooking the island of Benetiers. Each studio has its private dining terrace, facing towards the sea. The bungalows are fully equipped with a kitchenette and en-suite shower room.Our accommodation is an ideal choice for surfers, divers, honeymooners, singles, couples, and or families looking for a place to enjoy a calm and relaxing time. They are also ideal for the adventurous explorers who want to experience the true sense of the culture and rustic part of Mauritius. Admire the most stunning sunsets over the Indian Ocean from our balcony as well as a panoramic view of the mountains surrounding the bungalows on three sides. Shops, restaurants and transport are just a short walk away. We have three individual, self-catering, en-suites, each has either a double or twin bedsit with covered balcony.The bedrooms are spacious, tastefully designed and contemporary accommodation to suit all travellers. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning system, a shower room, a kitchenette and plentiful amenities such as complimentary Broadband Internet to make your stay more pleasurable and enjoyable. Two of our bedrooms have an interconnecting door that can be opened to make a spacious two bedsits, ideal for a family of four or four friends.

“Conforme à nos attentes”

Très bien. La réalité est fidèle aux descriptions. La Gaulette est un petit village plein de charme avec restaurants grande surface et épicerie. Proche du Morne.

“Great location for the south of the island”

We split our holiday between the north and south of the island. This was a good decision as driving is quite slow. The studios are small but well equipped. The gardens and pool are very pretty. There are good views between neighboring houses to the sea, with lovely sunsets. The owners couldn't have been more helpful before and during our holiday. They arranged for a car for us to hire. (A Kia Sportage. You definitely want something quite robust for the roads) We loved the beaches at Le Morne and Flic en Flac. We had an awesome beach ride at Le Morne, including swimming on the horses.

“Peaceful and Romantic”

My husband and I spent a great time at Marisa on our honeymoon. The garden, the pool... nature everywhere and the view on the sea and the mountains ! So beautiful ! There is nothing more relaxing than watching the sun set at La Gaulette... I would definitely recommend Marisa. If you like intimacy, If you want to spend a quiet stay and enjoy the company of very charming people then you try Marisa, we were not disappointed. A very charming lady even decorated our room for the occasion and had some some chocolates and sweets for us as a special treat. On the first day we didn't had breakfast at the bungalow but decided to go the nearby La Gaulette Store. its not very far (10 minutes or less) and that's a plus. We already plan a second stay maybe for our first anniversary :)
