Description
Property is a renovated detached villa standing alone on a hilltop in the foothills of the Majella mountains, with outstanding views over countryside to sea. Rooftop terrace has 360 degree panoramic views.The property is on three floors. There are two large bedrooms on the first floor each with a kingsize bed and private balconies. There is a bathroom and toilet next to them. The top floor , also large, has two single beds and two single camp beds. It has its own private shower room and toilet.This room opens onto the roof terrace.The ground floor living room has a brand new double sofa bed.All rooms have outstanding views. In particular the bedrooms on the first floor have floor to ceiling windows so that you can enjoy the views while still in bed.The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washing machine.
The pool is new from 2020, it is now oblong in shape, suitable for dipping and very safe for young children.
Fly screens now in all rooms.
Please note aircon is available in one bedroom at extra cost if used.

“Lovely house in a brilliant location with fantastic views.”
We stayed at Casa Maya for two weeks for 2 weeks in July/August 2013 and combined our stay with 2 nights in Rome and 2 nights in Naples, both just a few hours drive away. The house is located on it's own hill between two villages giving beatiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The house seemed larger than shown in the pictures with all the rooms of a good size and well fitted. The large patio was quiet and a great sunspot, the pool providing a welcome cooling dip. We found plenty of local restaurants and shops and although we didn't speak Italian the locals were very friendly and helpful. Being located between the mountains and coast we were able to find a variety of activities from caves to mountain tops and from sandy beaches to rocky coves. We enjoyed our stay and have lots of great memories.

“the most stunning location imaginable”
We stayed for just under a week in this secluded and peaceful hilltop house and had a full dose of both fun and relaxation every day. The house has stunning views in all directions which make barbecues and drinks on the terrace all the more exquisite, plus the location allows a day to be spent partly by the sea and partly walking in the mountains without spending more than an hour in the car in total. Surrounding villages unspoilt and un-touristy, with excellent simple local food. Highly recommended all round.
