Swift Stables is a former carriage house recently renovated to a high standard and provides extremely comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests. Set on a quiet equestrian yard in a rural position close to the village of Mowsley, the property enjoys wonderful views across the Leicestershire countryside.

This magnificent conversion offers guests over 1500 square feet of internal space to enjoy at their leisure.

Perfectly located just 10 minutes from J20 of M1 and just 20 minutes from excellent shopping, sports and culture in Leicester .

The cottage is beautifully appointed, with a large living/dining area with bi-fold doors enjoying glorious views of the open countryside. Excellent well equipped kitchen and 3 good sized bedrooms will provide guests with lots of indoor space. Large garden with trampoline and small orchard too!

Guests will have access to the whole house, with a large wrap around garden and separate parking area for several cars.

Please note the property is also available for longer lets.

This is an ideal spot for couples and families, those interested in walking and bird watching. The Grand Union canal which leads to Foxton Locks a busy tourist attraction can be accessed via a short walk along country lanes. There are many local footpaths you can explore on foot including the Welland Valley Way starting in Market Harborough. You can also find golf, riding, fishing and gliding locally.

“Swift stables and location... excellent 5 stars”

Swift Stables is a fantastic place to stay. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. The house is very clean and tidy with lots of room and even a toy chest full of games for the kids.. My 3 children aged 23 months, 4 and 6 enjoyed watching the animals in the fields and loved the garden with it trampoline, slide and see-saw it a lovely space and most importantly very safe. There plenty to do in the surrounding area and we took a trip to Woburn Safari which was fantastic. Nick is a very friendly helpful and informative. Overall fantastic holiday and we will definitely be back Many thanks

“Great house in a beautiful, peaceful setting.”

We booked Swift Stables as a base for attending a family event. Our first impression was that we had found an absolute gem, the house was extremely well equipped and comfortable with lots of extra touches such as a trampoline in the garden and a toy box which our grandchildren loved. The setting was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed watching the horses and goats in the field. The owner Nick was extremely helpful and made sure that we could make contact with him if we had any problems, which we didnt. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring particularly at Foxton Locks which is close by. We would definitely book again.
