Description
Within the country with olive trees of Apulia, at 10 km from the Brindisi airport and 5 km from the historic centre of Mesagne and from the natural reserve of “Torre Guaceto”, there's the “Turrett”, a country house restored as holiday house, surrounded by the land property of 7 hectars of land, organised among cultivation, fig trees, garden and vegetable garden.
The villa is a traditional house in local stones surmounted by a little tower, set in the countryside, within a large property which only distances 10-15 minutes from the Brindisi airport, in Apulia, allowing very pleasant holidays for going to the sea and to visit wineries and cultural centres.
There are common living spaces, private areas, two terraces, and a wide outdoor area. Heart of the house is the large vaulted living room (7m x 14m), adjacent to the kitchen and with two exits to the garden. There are two sleeping areas, at the ground floor and at the upper floor. Ground floor sleeping area presents 2 bathrooms, a small lounge, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bedroom with two bunk beds and 2 double bedrooms each one with its own bathroom. The upper floor comprises of an office opening on a solarium, a small lounge, 2 double bedrooms, 1 room with a bunk bed, 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom with private bathroom. Large sliding glass doors give access to a terrace that overlooks the property, equipped with hot water showers. Specific features of the house is the independence of the two sleeping areas, allowing easy cohabitation of two families. In the garden there are 3 areas paved in local stone, such as outdoor rooms: one with chairs and dining table, another is a solarium, the latter is an area with barbecue, sink and shower with hot water. The fig trees and a large mulberry tree create shadows for hammocks and tables. In the large country space there is a volleyball / soccer field. It's possible to add a service of house cleaning and local cooking.
The house allows to live in peace and at the same time presents easy access to seaside resorts and cultural and tourist centers. The nearest town is Mesagne where it is very nice to have a walk inside its ancient walls. Rich of restaurants and bars, numerous events are organized during the summer.
Many different beaches and resorts along the adriatic coast are reachable in 10-15 minutes. There's a very exclusive beach called "Guna beach" with sports/beauty facilities. The close protected marine reserve of "Torre Guaceto" allows beautiful sea bathing along several beaches, as well as walks on foot and on bicycles. The path to the reserve crosses the protected area with old olive trees.
You can also easily reach the beaches along the ionic coast in 40 minutes ca..
There are many old and interesting centres to visit as Ostuni and Lecce.
In the surroundings there are wineries, olive makers and old masserias where you can do horse riding, have fantastic food or organise walks on foot or on bicycles among olive trees and in the country. There are also close centres of kyte surfing, wind surfing and sailing.
You need a car which you can easly rent at the airport, or at the train station.
We could also organise a service with catering of local food or a cook service, and additional cleaning service during your stay.
We do also have an ORGANIC VEGETABLE GARDEN near the house at your disposal ! The TURRET VILLA is all ORGANIC: all soaps, shampooing, kitchen and laundry soaps are already there, all organic.
In summary, YOU WILL HAVE A FANTASTIC TIME HERE!
