Difficult to describe the panorama that can be admired from Villa Sorrentina, totally surrounded by green, perhaps we might say that it is indeed breathtaking. The breathtaking vistas create an unforgettable setting at this renovated 1950s hilltop villa designed by a well-known Italian architect.

Located in a quiet area, surrounded by an expansive garden, this is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday with family and friends and a convenient base for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Villa Sorrentina is accessed via a secondary road, electric gates open onto the 20.000 square meters fenced terraced gardens with a private swimming pool (5 x 15 m, open from early May to mid-October), outdoor shower with warm water, dressing room with small bathroom (toilet and sink), sun loungers, shaded tables and chairs seating a total of 12, an outdoor wood pizza oven with views of the Sorrentine hillside and Gulf of Naples comprising the Isles of Ischia, Capri and Procida.

There is also a garden house and private parking for up to 10 cars.

The upper terrace, located on the first-floor level, has a mini hydro massage pool and a fully equipped gym with Finnish sauna and private bathroom.

The interior of the villa (400 square meters with Elevator/ lift) is equipped with air conditioning, heating and WiFi throughout. The various floors which are connected by stairs as well as a lift. Also suitable for small meetings or conventions.

Ground Floor: There is a large, open living and dining room with two couches, satellite TV, a fireplace, corner bar and a dining area for 14-18 persons.

The kitchen has a large 4 gas ring stove with grill, oven, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, Italian and American coffee makers and a table for 8 persons. There is also a guest toilet.

First Floor: There are five en-suite bedrooms on this floor all with safe and electrically controlled shutters. The first room has a king-size bed (180 cm), small couch, closet and en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The second room has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The master bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm), en-suite bathroom with a double shower, double sinks, toilet and bidet, and private balcony. The fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm), en-suite bathroom with a double shower, double sinks, toilet and bidet, and private balcony. The fifth room has two twin beds (90 cm each) can be made up as double, an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet, and a private balcony.

Second Floor: There is one bedroom on this floor. It has a queen-size bed (160 cm), en-suite bathroom shower, sink, toilet and bidet, and a private terrace. There is also a laundry room, with a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities, and another terrace.

The Villa offers a range of services included in the price: water, gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, parking, cleaning 3 hours per day, bed linen, bathroom and pool towels, cleaning and maintenance of the pool and hot tub, gardener who takes care of the park. It is also possible to request extra hours for service staff, Concierge, chef, beautician, hairdresser, private tour guide, transfer by car with or without driver, vintage car rental and helicopter transfers.

Check-in procedure

Check-in time is between 3,00 and 8,00 p.m. You will be met and taken to the booked accommodation, asked for a photo copy of your Id or passport, any extras and the Breakage deposit (in cash only in any currencies) € 1.000,00 – this is refunded on your departure day, less any breakages.

We strongly recommend contacting our land agents the day before or early morning of your arrival day, to let them know how you intend getting to the resort and approximate arrival time, they will in this occasion be able to advise of any local fiestas, roads closed etc...

Check-out time is between 07:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

On departure the property has to be left tidy, with the kitchen clean and free from trash. Should these conditions not be respected, there will a deduction from the deposit - amount corresponding to the extra cleaning time.

Arrival and departure times can be arranged outside these times for this service a supplement of € 55,00 is applied.

Getting around

Sorrento and it´s surrounding area have lots of market gardens and vineyard where many of the grapes used to make local wines are grown together with oranges, lemons, artichokes and aubergines. The main square in Sorrento is called Piazza Tasso and the main street is the Corso Italia. Sorrento´s historical centre has changed very little since the beginning of the 20th century, with little cobbled streets and alley ways with arches and colourful balconies bursting with flowers and hanging plants. There are many restaurants and local shops that sell traditional and handmade products such as ceramics, inlaid wood and cameos.
