Casa Colorado is one of those rare vacation condominiums with views that are equally stunning whether you’re indoors or out. Like the Mile-High City itself, Casa Colorado is the peak of perfection for your next Caribbean vacation.

Tucked inside the gated and elegant Residencias Reef complex, Casa Colorado sits right on a private beach, where you’re only steps down a beautiful paved path from the ocean and pristine beach.

The one-bedroom, one-bath condo includes a king-sized bed with luxurious, high thread-count linens, simply sublime down pillows, and a flat-screen TV with plenty of English channels. It’s an exquisite place to retire for the evening, with gentle ocean breezes flowing in and the nothing but the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep.

The gorgeous adjoining master bathroom, which is expertly designed and has a modern flair, includes a walk-in shower and comes fully stocked with shampoos, soap, a hair dryer, sun block, and even monogrammed towels.

The living room, which boasts not one but two comfortable couches, is part of the open-concept design, so the kitchen is in full view and the chef is always part of the conversation. The large satellite TV also has a DVD player with a substantial movie collection, and your hosts have even stocked the condo with board games for those fun and priceless family times. Wi-Fi is included, and can also be accessed from the pool area.

The kitchen is, as you would expect, fully equipped with all appliances—including those little must-haves like a coffee maker, microwave, blender, and toaster. For those of you who like to stay in and cook, the kitchen pantry has been stocked with spices, condiments and even a beach cooler if you choose to take the party outside. Again, just a few of the special touches your hosts have included to make you feel completely at home.

The vacation condo is ideally situated on a private beach (San Francisco beach), so you are just a sandy stroll away from exclusive beach clubs, where you are invited to dine, have a drink, or just unwind from a long day of fun in the sun, and really Enjoy Cozumel.

Right in your own front yard (your patio opens up to the pool and beach areas) is your private beachfront and two freshwater pools, where comfortable lounge chairs, palm trees, and cool tropical breezes beckon you to kick back and relax. You can jump in the ocean for a bit of snorkeling or take a leisurely stroll along the beach and perhaps play a little volleyball, Frisbee, or rent a jet ski. You can arrange for a SCUBA diving or glass-bottom boat snorkeling adventure, so you can see the underwater world of this incredible island. Your guide will pick you up right at your condo, and whisk you off for a little offshore excitement.

If the pools and ocean aren’t enough water for one day, you’ll also have full use of the jetted hot tub. There’s a SCUBA and snorkeling rinse tank for gear plus two outdoor showers to wash away the salt and sand. And it’s all surrounded by a manicured landscape of lush green lawns and tropical foliage.

When you’re ready to shake things up, head to the main street of downtown Cozumel, a 15-minute drive away. The waterfront is alive with activity day and night because it is one of the primary ports for cruise ships as well as the location of the ferry terminal, with regular daily trips to Playa del Carmen. You can shop, dine, drink, and people-watch to your heart’s content—there’s no shortage of action on the promenade.
