Description
Good accommodation in a summer house on a traditional Icelandic farm, in Helgafellssveit. The house is in the middle of Stykkishólmur (19 km.) and Grundarfjörður (22 km.).
The house is 82 square meters with two bedrooms, there are two beds in each room. In the living room there are two sofabeds for two people each. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is bright and spacious and in the house is a good bathroom with a shower. A washing machine is in the laundry/storage room. On the south side of the house there is a patio with garden furniture and a gas barbeque and on the other side of the house there is a big lawn. There is internet connection in the cabin.
The location is great for everyone wanting to enjoy all the things Snæfellsnes has to offer. You can for example visit the Shark and History museum in Bjarnarhöfn, hike on Helgafell and get your three wishes fulfilled or hike on Drápuhlíðarfjall to look for gold. You can as well go swimming in the fantastic swimming pool in Stykkishólmur, which has a water slide and hot tubs. You can also visit the Volcano museum, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður, hike on Snæfellsjökull or visit the Water Cave. Or you might want to go golfing in Stykkishólmur.
