Description
This terraced cottage in Hornsea sleeps six people in four bedrooms.Elizabeth House is a terraced cottage in the Victorian seaside town of Hornsea. The cottage has a second floor double room, and on the first floor are a further double room and two single rooms along with a bathroom. Downstairs is a kitchen with breakfast bar, and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and off road parking for one small car, with extra roadside parking available. Elizabeth House makes an ideal base for enjoying the beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds, the nature reserves and popular resorts of the coast, or the cities of Hull and York.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, radio, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 1 small car (very narrow entrance), plus roadside parking at end of lane. Enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Beach 1 mile. Note: Steep cottage stairs.
Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: Hornsea is a seaside resort, which lies on the east coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This town boasts a wide, safe sandy beaches, a promenade with well-kept gardens and a number of shops, pubs and cafes. Close by is Hornsea Mere, the largest natural lake in Yorkshire offering sailing, fishing and boat trips.
