“ Mare ” is a beautiful apartment in Villa ( 70-sq.mt. / 755 sq.ft.) which sleeps 5 People , is a beautiful apartment which is part of the oldest Villa, a fine example of classical Mediterranean architecture. One ample arched window overlook the sea, situated in the heart of Positano, a10 minutes walk to the beach. The house you reach it by climbing at only 18-steps stairway from main road.
On the terrace/Patio you will find several flowers, sun loungers, and night illumination. The terrace it will definitely be your favorite place to relax outdoors from morning time to night fall, when the moon reflect in the sea.
" Mare" has a patio in front of living room is covered by one large masonry arch under which there is one patio doors leading to the living-room and the kitchen.
The entrance is only 13 steps from the main road, then a beautiful grey stone staircase brings you inside the house.
The Place
Situated in one of the most scenic areas of Positano , walking in the pedestrian area, from Villa Marisole you can easily reach the Big Beach and the Pier (ferry to Capri and Amalfi) or the beautiful Fornillo beach.
The location of Mare is in heart of Positano, between the beaches and the entrance to the town of Positano, making it possible to reach either one either on foot or by the local bus that stops 30 meters from our home.
The gate of Mare is reached by climbing an 13-step stairway. You can reach the bus stop on foot 30 meters from the house, and you can park your car 100 meters away in a pay parking lot. You can reach nearby shops at 150 meters; four grocery shops at 200 meters; 5 restaurants at 150 meters; laundry, newspapers, hairdresser at 50 meters; café-bar at 50 meters.
You can easily reach the Pier and the beaches by descending a pedestrian shortcut or walking through the old stairwells of Positano, the 'scalinatelle' (little streets consisting of narrow stairways and steps). This is something not to be missed! Climbing down the steps, passing by the most visited places by tourists, you will discover and unveil enchanting angles of Positano, and then, once you have visited all the little streets by foot, you can always go back up by the local shuttle bus!
