Description

The Villa Anémone with its large garden is situated in Berck-Plage in the dunes within a stone's throw from the beach and the nearby nudist beach in a calm quarter. We do offer two double rooms with private bathroom/shower. Our cosy living room does invite you to relax at the fire place after a day full of activities or during a stormy night. Of course, we shall open our library specialized in theology and history to those who wish to learn more about our projects. The Villa Anémone is is a gay-friendly place to be!

The room « La Sycomore », a nice bright individually decorated room. Double bed. Private bathroom / WC en suite, hairdryer, safety deposit box, WiFi and an electric water jug.

We do to invite you to discover Berck-Plage and its surroundings. Berck-Plage a charming sea resort on the French coast of the British Channel just some 40 miles south of Calais providing all kind of facilities you should expect to spend some marvelous holidays. Located between the embouchures of the rivers Canche and Authie with its wildfowl and seals colonies, Berck with its the long and fine sandy beach that is supposed to spread over 7.5 miles to Merlimont joining the beach of Le Touquet. does invite you to all sort of activity. Swimming and sun bathing in summer.

Surfing, kite surfing or stand up paddle boarding, land sailing, riding or just doing some hiking, there are plenty of activities to practice and enjoy all the year. You are very welcome to know more about us, André and Frank, two Germans who happened to disembark on the French coast a little while ago. Discover the lovely region around Berck with the cliffs of Widehem and Boulogne-sur-Mer, the Seven Valleys in the the north. Explore the wonderful Authie valley and the Somme estuary as well as the Picardy coast with its cliffs that do lead you to make excursions to Normandy in the south.

Visit the charming medieval town of Montreuil-sur-Mer that did inspire Victor Hugo to place here one episode of his famous novel “Les Misérables” and Abbeville with its impressive collegiate Saint Vulfran or Rue where you will find a fine example of perpendicular style architecture in an enchanting narthex. Make a trip to Bolougne-Sur-Mer with its fortified medieval upper town, its harbour and the Sea Life Aquarium "Nausicaa". The Villa Anémone is the ideal place to make a base to visit Picardy and Pas-de-Calais.

Berck-Plage is about 150 miles from London and only some 135 miles from Paris and Brussels, thus approximately equidistant from these three important cities. Thus you shall find the B&b approximately equidistantly situated in the center between these three important cities. Berck is connected to the European motorway network by the motorway A16 and to the railway network via the SNCF station at Rang-du-Fliers served by a TGV to Calais/Lilles-Flandres and linked to Paris by an Intercité.
