Our home is ideally located in the South Venice neighborhood within walking distance to Shamrock Park. It is a short drive to several beautiful beaches and a Ferry Pass is included with your rental for the South Venice Private Beach.

This home has one of the larger private pools in the neighborhood. The pool is heated by a hybrid heating system and it keeps the pool warm even on cooler winter days. There is NO extra charge for heating the pool! The lanai covering the pool is large and perfect for laying out in the sun on the lounge chairs or eating and relaxing in the outdoor dining area that has a large sun shade for the hot days.

The oversized back yard is completely fenced in for your own personal space and for those who are looking for a safe place for their pets. The fence is private on 3 sides.

The home has two renovated and updated bathrooms, kitchen with granite counter tops with breakfast bar, stainless steal appliances, and three bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has a trundle bed and doubles as an office space or reading area for couples or small groups that do not need a 3rd bedroom.

The two main bedrooms have DISH TV with new flat screen TVs as well as another flat screen TV in the living room. Free Wifi in the home. You are also provided with a grill and propane in the backyard lanai.

Many people will find it hard to leave your personal private pool that faces perfectly south for the sun. But be sure to make it to the beaches and Shamrock Park which has walking trails, a nature center, tennis courts, a play ground, and basketball courts. There are also golf courses in town.

This home and location are perfect for both active vacationers, families, and those just looking to relax. We supply beach chairs, towels, toys, shark teeth strainers, tennis rackets, bicycles, and more!

Most people would need their own car. There is a bus system, but we have not used it.

Interaction with guest

We run our home from New Hampshire where we live. We are available by chat message, email, text, or phone call during your stay. We prefer to be in touch with our renters so we know that their stay is going as they had expected, but at the same time we do not wish to intrude on your vacation. If there are any issues we take pride in responding quickly to your needs and we have several good caretakers down in Florida who can respond as needed.
