Lovely, family house situated in an idyllic location in the heart of the New Forest. Ponies, donkeys and cows wander freely up and down the lane. A perfect base from which to explore and discover the area. Endless walking and cycling, straight from the front door into the forest. Secluded, private garden to relax in, with play equipment. Everything you need to keep your family happy and busy on holiday. Spacious accommodation. Well equipped kitchen. Wood burner, TV, Wifi. Ample parking. Main house has 3 bedrooms. Annexe has a further bedroom with open plan bathroom (shower, sink and toilet).

“Great family vacation”
Excellent location with the donkeys, cows and horses pottering around. The house was well equipped and had comfy beds and soft towels. The children loved playing on the trampoline each day in between our days out, and the garden was a nice large safe area for both children and dog. Would recommend!

“Lovely New Forest”
We booked Forest View, for a family holiday and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The cottage is right in the Forest making it easy to enjoy walks directly from your front door. You can also enjoy the lovely wildlife right on your doorstep! My 2 year old was very excited to see all the horses, cows and donkeys! Forest View is a lovely, comfortable home from home. Great sized rooms, comfortable beds, fab kitchen and glorious garden! The owners of the property have really taken time to think about what things really make for a great stay. The kitchen is really well equipped with just about every little utensil you could think of! Not to mention the big things like dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer! Just what you need for a no fussy relaxing holiday! I think the New Forest is the perfect holiday spot because there is so much to do! You can walk in the Forest, visit local beaches, walk around lovely villages and for the adventurous there are lots of more exciting activities. Dealing with the owner of Forest View was a pleasure! Any questions were quickly answered and any requests were accommodated, where possible. Our host left a bottle of sparkle jn the fridge to toast our holiday! Forest View was a fantastic base for our holiday. It was clean, cosy, comfortable, very well equipped and in an amazing location! Elena and Forest View, thank you for a great holiday!

“Perfect location, comfortable and welcoming.”
We( two families) really enjoyed our holiday at Forest View, it is in the most beautiful location with the New forest on your doorstep. Beaulieu, Lymington, Keyhaven are all within easy reach and we were able to enjoy the beach on the hottest week of the year.The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped, everything you needed. The garden was delightful and our Westie dog settled in immediately! Would definitely recommend! Thank you to Elena for being such a great host!

Response from the owner Hi Rohit - Although you booked through AirBnb rather than TripAdvisor, I see you have copied the review that I left for you on AirBnb when you were a guest at Forest View, after you actually gave your stay a 5 star rating. Your real review said "Superb communication and a lovely stay in a great location!" and you messaged me privately to say "It was a lovely stay and thanks for everything". However, you were upset that my host review of your stay as a guest was not so complimentary after the cleaning team had to spend extra time washing up, removing your rubbish and restoring the house to normal. So, it seems you have decided to retaliate. I always make contact with guests at the beginning of their stay to check that they have settled in and are happy, and I believed that you enjoyed your stay, because that is what you told me. All guests have my contact details so that they can get in touch with me at any time if anything isn't up to scratch. I'm sorry you felt the need to post here, as my review was simply based on my experience of your stay compared to other guests and was meant to be an honest reflection. Elena
