Description

Come enjoy our luxury home located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Cape Coral. Our resort style home is in a quiet area on a wide waterfront with a very nice view. You will enjoy our formal living room, dining room, great kitchen family room, cozy library with a pull-out leather couch for 2 extra guests, 4 bedrooms (sleeping 8) plus 3 full baths. Our home is L shaped, so most rooms have sliding doors opening to the very comfortable pool lounge with soft seating; overlooking our dock and second water's edge dining & lounge area. Enjoy spending time in the comfortable kitchen family room area, with WIFI, radio, CD player, DVD player and a 60 inch TV, or our heated and lighted pool with great waterfront views. Watch the local rowing team float by each morning and see the beautiful pleasure boats while you enjoy the birds playing above and jumping fish at our dock, teasing you to catch them. Both of our outdoor areas have dining & lounge seating. The screened in pool area has a large gas grill for BBQs. The master bedroom suite is fit for a king & queen and ready for you to take romantic midnight dips in the pool. We supply a hair dryer so you will not have to pack yours. Our home is fully furnished & supplied with everything you will need to feel at home. All you need to pack is your clothes and you will be ready for fun in the sun. We even supply, bicycles, a cooler, fishing poles, beach toys, beach towels and sand chairs for the many nearby beaches. Our 120 foot dock is a great spot for relaxing on our covered swing, catching fish or lounging in the sun.

Location is everything on a vacation and our dream house is close to great shopping, cinema, Broadway Theater, art galleries, beauty parlors, spas, local supermarkets (that sell take out dinners), fast food spots, fantastic gourmet restaurants and the local beach at Cape Coral Yacht Club. Enjoy the many activities at the Yacht Club; including large outdoor pool exercise classes, tennis, handball, racquetball, shuffle board, free fishing pier, tiki restaurant, marina, bingo and planned activities.

We have several reasonably priced golf courses nearby just waiting for you to tee off. “Splash-down WaterPark” is a fun adventure you and your family will surely enjoy. You can also try the local batting cages or try go carting. Fly your model plane at our model plane air field, ride your BMX bike at our local BMX track, take a hike or rent a kayak at our local eco park. Cape Coral if filled with many different, beautiful parks. Enjoy our nature trails, some with canoe and kayak rentals. Paddle our canals or the famous Great Calusa Blueway. Rent a motor boat, sports car or a motorcycle for the day. Try kite boarding or surf sailing nearby or just visit a local spa to relax and be pampered.

Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva Islands, known for their beaches and world famous shelling are also close by. Boating day trips are available to many barrier islands; Captiva, Sanibel, Usepa and Boca Grande. Don't miss the famous artsy town of Matlacha just next door to Cape Coral or visit one of our discount shopping malls filled with great bargains.

Visit the Thomas Edison Laboratory and Home Museum along with many other local museums. The Imaginarium Science Center and Aquarium is a memorable place to take the kids. Nearby is the renowned Ding Darling Nature Preserve with wonderful free visitors center, free tours and boat rentals.

We have a wonderful dinner theater with visiting Broadway productions, as well as fabulous local theater. There are several concert halls, colleges and events centers in our area supplying us with world famous entertainment. There are large public libraries nearby, with free computers, so you can check your email if you didn't bring your own computer. Several major league baseball teams come to our area for spring training each year. We are also near the home of the famous Everblades Hockey Team.

Our smoke-free home is located in the best of all worlds. You can enjoy all of South West Florida's vacation amenities but return to a lovely large dream house to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of our luxury residential neighborhood. “Tired home”

Response from the owner We are truly sorry our guest thought our home was not up to her standards. We are proud of the fact we keep our home up to date and in excellent condition. The AC water drip from the air handler in the garage was due to the unusual extreme high humidity. The repair man was there the day after we were notified, to check it out. Nothing was cleaned. He just checked everything and it was all within specs. As far as the "Florida" comment, our manager deals with many guests from northern USA & Europe who are not familiar with the humidity in south Florida. No offense was intended. We had an electrician come in to check the bathroom outlet. He said the issue with the electrical outlet in the bathroom was; the outlet had been overloaded with too much draw or shorted. The safety GFCI and the circuit breaker were popped and had to be reset. Our guest forgot to mention the personal items she forgot at the house when she left. Julie, our manager took them, boxed them up and shipped them to her at no cost. As you can see in our reviews, guests really love our home and return year after year. We hope this guest find a better place to fit her needs next time.
