Very quiet, in a certified organic countryside, located between the town and the Policoro beach. Possibility of direct collection of seasonal organic productions. Information and guides to get to know the territory of Basilicata in all its aspects. Proximity to interesting sites to visit The apartment is located in Policoro (MT), in the center of the Ionian arc of Lucania, near (about 2.5 km) of the sandy coast of the Ionian Sea and consists of two bedrooms, a large living room / kitchen, bathroom and veranda. It is equipped with heating by radiators which can be supplied, either by gas or with a wood-burning fireplace. It is also equipped with a solar photovoltaic system for the production of electric energy and solar thermal energy for the production of domestic hot water which, in summer, replaces the wood-burning fireplace. It is a newly built autonomous rural dwelling located in an organic farm of 6 hectares that produces various types of fruit: citrus fruits, apricots, figs, blackberries, etc. that you can pick up directly and taste, depending on the season. The farm is fenced and it is possible to keep animals (which do not conflict with the already present dog and kitten). It respects the typology of the farmhouses built by the Land Reform at the beginning of the 50s. It is close to the different Parks and Nature Reserves (in addition to the Pantano di Policoro) of Basilicata: Pollino, Sassi di Matera, Gallipoli Cognato, etc. Guests during their stay in the apartment, they will be able to ask to see books, videos and other documentation to know the area in all aspects. Speriamo serva a far conoscere, e speriamo ancor di più, apprezzare ed alla fine, amare sinceramente la nostra terra ... così da sentirvi un pò "lucani" anche voi, che di tanto in tanto ci verrete a trovare, per scovare altri "scrigni" di cultura, saperi e sapori (frase trita e ritrita ma, credo, descriva realmente le realtà dei piccoli paesi lucani). A proposito. Ma poi, a "quel paese" ci siete stati? Non è solo una simpatica "attrattiva" turistica ma un tentativo di riscatto di un intero paese che rischiava di scomparire ... come tanti in Basilicata! Tutti gli abitanti impegnati, in estate, a raccontare la loro storia, la storia del loro paese ... Perciò speriamo sinceramente in un vostro ritorno, dell'arrivo dei vostri amici che diventeranno anche nostri, e degli amici dei nostri amici ... E questo non solo per motivi di equo sostentamento economico ma anche per avere tanti "nuovi lucani", sparsi per il mondo come i vecchi lucani, coinvolti nella difesa e valorizzazione del nostro territorio. Non dimenticherete certo - l'ho ripetuto molte volte - che siamo solo 500.000 abitanti su un vastissimo e spesso, montuoso ed isolato, territorio! Queste caratteristiche fanno gola per i più turpi interessi (a volte, presentati come "collettivi")! E deve diventare interesse comune contrastarli! Anche per questo, nuovamente a presto. P.s. Ricordate, spediamo i nostri agrumi bio anche a casa ...
