Description
Villa Sabina is a traditional stone farmhouse nestling in a small valley containing three farms, producing olives, wine and fruit. It is located just outside Broce, a Dalmatian fishing village 45 minute drive west of Dubrovnik. The villa is in a peaceful rural location offering complete seclusion and the terraced garden has beautiful views and glimpses of the nearby sea visible through the cypress groves and olive trees. There is a large outdoor kitchen for barbecues and other food preparation. The covered loggia gives welcome relief from the heat of high summer. A car is essential, although the lively town of Ston with its cafes, numerous restaurants and shops is just a few minutes drive away.The house has been completely restored to provide 5 bedroom (3 double, 2 twin ), 4 bathroom fully air-conditioned accommodation comprising an open living space, a large fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area with Wifi & an i pod dock. There is parking for 4 cars. You can swim in the clear and warm sea which is a stroll from the house. You can swim either from the local beach or the jetty. Ground floor; the villa has four bedrooms on the ground floor, each one with direct access to an outdoor terrace. Two of the bedrooms are doubles and share a shower room. The other two bedrooms have twin beds, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with an en-suite shower room. The bedrooms have lovely views of the countryside and they are furnished with new beds and mattresses, and there is plenty of wardrobe space. All bed linen and towels are included.First floorA large open plan upstairs living area is reached by outside stone steps. There is also an internal staircase linking the two floors. The living room has a wood flooring and a high wood-beamed ceiling, with many windows and doors opening out onto the stone paved terraces. There are new comfortable sofas and chairs, a TV/DVD player, a music centre and WiFi. The whole room has a sunny and tranquil aspect. A separate kitchen/dining room has pale wood kitchen units and stone coloured tiles. It is fully equipped with two fridges & a freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, kettle, toaster and a full set of cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and glasses. To one side of the room is a dining table with ten dining chairs.There is ample seating for 10 people both inside and enough sun loungers and seating for 10 outside the house.
