Description
This petite house has a quirky, bohemian feel. There's character and charm in every corner. People who visit usually comment on the cosy, "away from the buzz of the world" atmosphere.
As this was originally our holiday home in Malta, during my visits I always made sure to relish every moment, every sight, every smell of this medieval town. Over these last few years it has been restored beautifully. Every day I would sit at the balcony, watching the world go by while having a good cup of coffee, then I would take a walk round the marina or visit a museum. My favourites are the church of St.Lawrence, the very same place where all the knights of the order were knighted, The Inquisitors palace and The Maritime Museum. A visit to the local street market on tuesdays and the farmers market on saturdays is a must. On sundays there is also an antiques market just outside the gates. I would sometimes take a quick ride with a water taxi to valletta to do some shopping. I would then watch the sunset come down over the bastions, and later, in the late hours, meet some friends over a platter and some lovely wine at one of the many wine bars in town. My favourite is just round the corner to the house. Birgu is a lovely medieval town, oozing with history and charm. You will never stop discovering new sights during your stay.
Ground floor - Entrance / Hallway with chaise long, stone sculptured side table and large mirror, and study alcove with vintage desk and book shelves. Bedroom with two single beds , wardrobe and drawer chest.

Flight of steps in Iroko wood leading to 1st floor - sitting room with floor to ceiling bookshelves, flat screen tv, sofa, coffee table and two chairs, small balcony, small bathroom. Bedroom with one double bed, 2 wardrobes, one large chest of drawers. further storage space above staircase.
