A stunning newly constructed beach front villa designed by one of Sri Lanka's premier architects, Jayatillaka Sumangala. Samudra is close to the historic UNESCO heritage site of Galle Fort. Samudra comprises two beautifully furnished bedrooms, a very large living area with open-plan kitchen and a dining pavillion. There is also a small third Bedroom room.The villa also has a large 55 x 15ft infinity pool situated in a beautiful garden with direct access to one of Sri Lanka's best beaches.The villa is fully staffed including a chef, Laundry lady, houseman and night watchman.

Getting around

There are many Tuks Tuks outside the Villa.Galle Fort would be about $10-Restaurants about $5.Alternatively Van with Driver for whole day is not expensive.

Interaction with guest

There is a manager for the villa (english) who has lived in Sri Lanka for twenty years.Ruwan ,the Chef,speaks very good english.His Cooking is really good.There is also a hoseboy , laundry lady and security.

Samudra is available on a bed and breakfast basis. Our cook ,Ruwan,will prepare Lunch and Dinner for you when requested.He is a good cook and you simply tell him what you would like and he will buy the supplies and return to you with the bills.There is no mark up.
