Welcome to The Fir & The Fig!
We are set on a private road 2 miles east of the Sonoma plaza and walking distance or a short bike ride to some of California's oldest and best wineries. Our location is in the heart of the wine country and only 40 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. We're on Sonoma's coveted east side so Napa is easily accessible in 15 minutes drive. You can start your day with a drive to Napa or just enjoy the laid back historic wineries all around you in Sonoma. We are uniquely positioned with wineries all around on old country roads so minimal traffic. This offers a unique opportunity to tour the area by foot or on bikes. Our favorite mode of transportation is cruising the bikes to a couple wineries en rout to the famous Sonoma plaza which offers an abundance of tasting rooms, 5 star restaurants and great markets. The plaza also hosts many great festivals throughout the summer and fall so you never know what you might roll up on.
Now that you know what's around us let's talk about the great property you would be enjoying when you're not out and about. We just finished major renovation in spring of 2013 so everything including the beds are brand new. We have a large hot tub just off the back deck and we recently added a large (20' x 12' x 48' deep) above ground pool that's perfect for cooling off or sunbathing on a hot summer day. It's tucked behind our garage so feels very private but has a lovely view over the grounds and tree filled hillside. Please note that the pool is seasonal and taken down during the cooler months.

Per Sonoma County noise ordinance #4908 for vacation rentals, music is strictly prohibited from being played or amplified outside at all times, day or night. If this is a problem, please do not book with us. A violation results in immediate forfeiture of your deposit.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am. All activities and noise should be contained inside during quiet hours.

“Perfect Sonoma Vacation Rental!”
My friends and I stayed here this summer and absolutely loved the place. The kitchen is amazing and the game room was a huge hit! I highly recommend this rental!
