Ballard Cottage self catering accommodation is situated just a few miles west of Newry City. It nestles on the slopes of Slieve Gullion in an area of unspoilt natural beauty. A tranquil oasis and peaceful retreat from our stress filled world.
This 19 century Irish Cottage has been tastefully restored. The exterior preserves many traditional features whilst the inside benefits from a 21st century makeover. It's an ideal place to relax and unwind.
With its peaceful surroundings and breath-taking views it is the perfect place to take a vacation and explore this historic region.
Slieve Gullion Adventure Park, Courtyard, Park Café and Forest Drive just 2 miles from the cottage.

“Great Place to Stay”
Stayed at Ballard cottage for 3 nights to attend a family wedding. The cottage is lovely and has everything you could want and more. It is very comfortable, warm & homely, yet very modern. The little extra touches such as the chocolates and the bottle of wine was very welcome on arrival. Ann, the owner is a great host and very helpful. The location is ideal, the cottage is nice and secluded but yet close to all the amenities and and very close to Newry and Camlough. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

If Ann (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
