Description
The house, called Pondok Apsari, is very unique because it's grown around an old rice barn. Inside and out site are floating over in each other. The living room and kitchen are one. The roofcovered semi-open bathroom is a separate building, with hot and cold water. There is also a roof covered studio for art activities and in the spacious tropical garden is a swimming pool with a great view on ricefields and far below the Bali sea and the city of Singaraja.Your stay can be tuned to your wishes and personal demands like fi meals. We can also organise all kinds of activities and help you to make an attractive program. The English speaking staff takes care of household, garden and swimming pool. On request we can serve you breakfast, lunch and/or diner.
The property lies 330m above sea level with a panoramic view. Part of it is a genuine ricefield. On walking distance is a jungle area and an exiting river in a gorge with places to swim in waterfall pools. They call it the secret garden of Sambangan. Pondok Apsari is part of a simple village where the people live like 30 years ago, except for mobil phones, television and motorbikes.
If needed, a car with driver is available to rent. We also can help to arrange motorbikes. Because the owner is an artist, she can organise day workshops like 'cutting your own statue out of volcanic sand' and modelling with clay.
On request a total of 6 beds can be arranged. Every guests more than 2 pay a subcharge. You can ask for information.
