In a narrow alley in the heart of the Old Harbour of Chania, you will find the ONAR VERDE, (means Green Dream) an old house that harmoniously combines the Venetian and Ottoman architecture. The ONAR VERDE has been renovated with care and attention to detail and has been lovingly restored to its former glory. The modern design and facilities are combined with the romance of the era and the spirit of the picturesque old town of Chania. The architectural mix of wood and stone of the old building, the twinkling lights, the warm colors and the modern furnishings create an effect of romantic elegance, warmth and an intimate atmosphere that both relaxes and refreshes.
ONAR VERDE loft has 2 comfortable bedrooms with fine linen, a stylish living room, a spacious bathroom with washing machine and fresh towels and a fully equipped kitchen(oven, fridge, cooking utensils, kettle, toaster, coffee maker). It is fully Air conditioned and has an excellent wifi connection to stay in touch with the world. In the terrace upstairs you can enjoy your morning coffee or your wine while watching the Old city from above.

The Neighborhood
ONAR VERDE is situated in the picturesque alleys of the old town of Chania within walking distance to the old port and several beautiful shops, bars and restaurants. Only minutes away you can pay a visit to the archeological, maritime and folklore museums, the byzantine and Post-Byzantine Collection the venetian harbor with its lighthouse, the Synagogue, the mosque of the Janissaries (Yali-Tzamisi Mosque), the Center of Mediterranean Architecture and the venetian Arsenali. Other local hallmarks as the church of Trimartyri and the Municipal Market of Chania are nearby as well as the public stadium for those of you who do not want t miss out your regular work up.
The nearest beach (Nea Chora) is situated 15 minutes away. "Nea Chora" is a small fishing port and a broad sandy beach. Along the beachfront there are many good fish restaurants.

Ioannis Daskalogiannis" Airport of Chania and Chania's Souda Port are in 20 minutes driving distance.

Getting around

ONAR VERDE doesn't offer a parking spot, but in a walking distance of 5 minutes there is a free of charge municipal parking area (Plateia Talos) where our guests can park their car.
