A beautiful place to spend time .Here in the English countryside ‘Far From the Madding Crowd' and deep in the country, where you wake up with songs from the birds , and the next door cockerel who sometimes gets his timing wrong not to mention the horses in the next field, in fact the main traffic is horses! Vineyard Cottage a charming detached cottage in it's own grounds next door to the owners house and vineyard. in the Cotswolds , It has parking for 3 cars. The downstairs shower room is modern and streamlined with a great walk in wet shower. There is a modern pull out sofa bed complete with linen for extra guests and a feature staircase which leads to a gorgous bedroom under the eaves complete with its own ensuite bathroom with washbasin and WC.

There is also a Summerhouse, Butterfly Cottage, just across the gravel, with a sitting out area where you can have your 'Sundowners' and catch the last rays of sun..

The cottage is tucked away in the hills above Waterley Bottom, with its narrow winding lanes about a mile from Wotton under Edge and the Cotswold Way. There is a pub within walking distance and many pretty Cotswold villages and towns nearby. Local attractions include antique shopping in Tetbury. Highgrove House, The Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Berkeley Castle, Badminton with its horse trials in May, Westonburt Arboretum and Newark Park amongst others. “A beautiful location”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2020

Never been to the Cotswold before and our 3 day break was nowhere near enough time to enjoy such a beautiful location. Our days out to various places like Upper and Lower Slaughter and Bourton on the Water and other places was amazing, Vineyard Cottage was delightful to stay in, and has all the amenities you would need, even a log burner. Our hosts, James and Paula were lovely and left us to it, but were there if we needed them. We will definitely be returning here.

“Cotswold seclusion”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2020

Vineyard Cottage is a great place to get away from it all. Nestled in a secluded spot close to Wotton under Edge this is a cozy place to recharge your batteries. The cottage is located off a single track road and consequently the only sounds are the local wildlife and the odd pony. James and Paula are great hosts and happy to provide local recommendations. You must try their sparkling wine from their vineyard next door!!
