Description

Holiday home Rustica is located in a small village called Zaton Veliki close to the sea and yet in a very quiet neighborhood. It was for centuries the place where the Dubrovnik aristocracy had summer resorts.
This little oasis of peace is located only 8 km from Dubrovnik and is reachable from the City by a regular bus service, the ride taking around 15 minutes.
The ground floor of the house consists of an entrance hall, the fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet, air conditioned and spacey living room with large dining table for 8. There are 3 air conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathroom with toilet on the top floor. In 3 bedrooms with king-size beds it accommodates 6 guests. It is ideal for 6 people but it has a sofa in the living room which can be turned into a bed to accommodate 2 additional guests. If necessary, baby cot and extra bed can be provided also.There is a terrace on both floors, the one on the ground floor is very cozy and serves as a second living room with a table for 8 overlooking the bay of Zaton.
In the backyard there is a garden with olive trees and a fire-place which temps the visitor to grill delicious barbecues. Also the guests can use two private parking spaces in front of the house.
By car it will take you only 10 minutes to get to Dubrovnik and you can also take one of the numerous buses (there is a regular local bus line every hour).
The bay has several beautiful beaches that are in walking distance from the house. As your host I will be at your disposal during your stay. I know the region pretty well and it will be my pleasure to give my recommendations for sight seeings, beaches, restaurants, bars and other places of interest.

“Lovely stay at Zaton Veliki”

Nicola was very responsive and accommodating. I was put off by some previous reviews and was worried before our arrival, but the house was clean, dishwasher and washing machine were working. Rooms were nice and clean. Whenever I had any questions Nicola responded right away and even allowed us to do later check-out. Wi-fi worked fine too. I really would have loved to have some hooks in bathrooms to hang towels or bathrobe. I noticed lack of small trash cans in bathrooms as well. That would be very convenient. There were only local channels on TV. Honestly I didn’t care about TV at all, but my dad would have loved if there were more channels. Otherwise we had a great stay and I can recommend Nicola’s place.
