Tangalooma Hilltop Haven is a locally owned, luxury holiday house with outstanding ocean beach views.

We have access to Tangalooma Island Resort, Moreton Island.

The house reflects the best of the Australian beach holiday, surfing and fishing lifestyle.

Our family LOVE Tangalooma Hilltop Haven and we are sure you will too!

This property is professionally managed via Moreton Island Accommodation Services. Please check pricing (agent direct rate + trip advisor fees), availability, and bookings/cancellation policy with Agent before booking.

The luxury accommodation is located at 10 Trochus Place, Moreton Island.

Split over 3 levels, the hilltop holiday home offers 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and comfortably accommodates 12 persons. Buggy now available for hire*

Staying at the hilltop holiday home also entitles you to use the Resort Facilities.

Tangalooma Hilltop Haven is ideally suited for a variety of occasions, including a romantic getaway (honeymoon, anniversary), quick getaway, multiple families, or a group holiday – be it friends, extended family, fishing group, surfing group, or some other sort of group (12 person accommodation).

It has a truly magnificent entertainment level which offers Tangalooma's best beach views – all the way down to the shipwrecks (Tangalooma Wrecks).

Getting around

A 4 x 4 is needed if travelling by car. Tangalooma is the main access point to the island with regular passenger ferry and vehicular (4 x 4 only) barge services. Helicopter tour and transfers are also located here. The island’s main airstrip is 1000 m long and lies between Cowan Cowan and Tangalooma. Kooringal has its own 500 m airstrip. Four small settlements exist on the western side of the island. The northernmost of these is Bulwer near the north western corner of the island, whilst Cowan Cowan is approximately 4.5 kilometres further south. Approximately 6 kilometres further south lies Tangalooma Island Resort. The other settlement is Kooringal which is located near the southern tip of the island.

Our property is professionally managed through Moreton Island Accommodation Services. The agent will ensure the house is opened for your arrival and closed following your departure. The owners liaise with the agent for TripAdvisor listing, booking, and payment process (for bookings through TripAdvisor only). For all other matters, Moreton Island Accommodation Services is based on Moreton Island so is available to be contacted throughout your stay if required. Being local, they can provide you with lots of information to make sure you get the most from your Moreton Island adventure!

Stayed here for my birthday, had so much fun. House was clean and the massive open plan kitchen was amazing! Beds were comfortable and plenty of warm blankets for the colder months.

How do damage deposits work?
