Located in the middle of the woods as the highest house on the historic hill Tertre Gannes in the town of Saint Suzanne, Maison Formidable will give you a splendid stay surrounded by nature, history and good food.

The medieval village of Sainte-Suzanne, voted one of most beautiful of France, has many things to offer, such as historical sites including an impressive castle, lovely restaurants to get a taste of the amazing French cuisine, cafes for your morning coffee with a fresh croissant, local shops as well as many activities.

This unique chalet is located on 1500m2 with 200 acres of adjoining woodlands, rich historical sites and a beautiful environment, which will leave a wonderful impression on you and your family/friends.

The chalet is suitable for up to 5 people, with one bedroom downstairs having a double bed, while 3 separate beds are available upstairs, of which 2 can be put together as a double bed.

Included in the price are:

Cleaning before arrival and upon departure, bed linen, towels, water, electricity, wifi

The Chalet has a warm and inviting vintage decor with the following facilities provided:

- Cups, teapot, glasses, plates, cutlery, pots, pans, etc.

- Electric cooker (4 cooking points), Microwave /Oven, electric kettle, coffee machine

- High chair for a child

- LED TV (Incl. CLE TV, Chromecast, DVD player)

Getting around

In a 20 minute walk you will be in the City centre of Sainte Suzanne. Many Hiking and mountain bike activities can be done around the Chalet but to have a car available is recommended.

Interaction with guest

The detached Chalet is located in the woods, after handing over the keys and provide you with a tour you can enjoy the birds, nature and come to a piece of mind. Normally during the stay won't interact with the guests as we live a few hundred meters down the road.
