Description
This unique Ibizan villa stands out from the rest - it's surrounded by tropical landscaped gardens with atmospheric night time lighting. Located in Cala Gració, a small cove full of natural charm situated on the northern side of San Antonio.
The villa, built in traditional Ibizan architectural style, has a spacious living room with a fireplace, open plan dining room and a large kitchen.
There are 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are ensuite. In total, there are 3 double beds, 5 single beds and 4 bathrooms.
One of the bedrooms is a large family room which consists of a super-kingsize four poster double bed, ensuite bathroom and 2 additional single beds. There is also a cot in the villa if needed. Another of the double rooms adjoins a single room which contains 1 single bed.
Within the garden is a large swimming pool (17m x 5m) with an adjacent hot tub. Around the pool are sun beds, a lounge area and a bar, and various chillout areas. Along the entire width of the house runs a partly covered terrace, and there is a charming courtyard at the back of the house.
The completely walled plot gives total privacy.

“26 HOURS WITH NO POWER!”
Before I start this review, please bare in mind that we are a family/group that believe “a holiday is what you make of it”! With that being said, there are some issues raised below that we would of easily overlooked to avoid “ruining” our trip but there are other MAJOR events that occurred that absolutely can not be overlooked! DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA!!! On arrival, we were greeted by Rupert who gave us a quick tour of the property, on first impressions it looked very different to the photos posted online, very deceiving! Broken outdoor furniture, dated rooms, outdoor area unappealing and the pool was murky and extremely uninviting. My mother in law who booked the holiday was in tears at the state of the villa, but determined to make the most of our holiday, we moved on from this disappointing start. During the first few days of our holiday we noticed a couple of other issues including broken outdoor lighting (the beautiful multicoloured evening lighting pictured in the villa photos was absolutely NOWHERE to be seen, I’d go as far as to say FALSE ADVERTISING) and we also needed drinking glasses. I must add there was around 20 champagne flutes and approximately 3 “normal” drinking glasses? Makes no sense!? After Rupert suggested that we buy some glasses and he would reimburse us saving him a trip, (he lives north of the island) but with no hire car for this holiday, this was not an appropriate choice for us. He did come to the villa with brand new glasses and some bulbs for the outdoor lights, he held up his hands and said “I never come to the villa when it’s dark” so he would never notice if the lighting was working or not, when we asked about the the other lights outside he stated “I don’t think they have worked in years”. Disappointing. Now, we come to our major issue during our trip. Rupert made us aware of some electrical work that would be happening in the area on Thursday 23rd July which we were assured should only last a few hours. No worries, we thought! These things have to happen... but we never thought for a second that we would be left without power for over 24hours!! 8.30am Thursday, a man was seen working on the power line and sure enough the power turned off moments later, again no bother, we were informed about this. After 4 hours of no power we contacted Rupert who said he’s power was also off, and he lives north of Ibiza? Very peculiar! Was this a problem for the whole of the island then, San Antonio hotels/cafes down the road and the neighbouring houses/villas all had power? By 4pm we were getting worried and messaged Rupert again to find out more information, he was supposedly contacting the main energy office but being passed from department to department, and being told it was a maingrid problem nothing to do with the villa! With all of our phones quickly running out of power, we tried our luck to see if any neighbours spoke English and could help us with charging phones in case of an emergency. To our delight, one lady spoke excellent English, let us charge our phones and also rang the energy supplier office herself, getting through to them immediately (this was around 8pm) Their response to our query... “we know nothing about it”!!!! If Rupert had been on the phone with them all afternoon as he claimed, why did our neighbour get answers straight away? The neighbour also explained that she had many incidents with the villa including noise complains, owners not paying towards the community etc. Now knowing that it was very unlikely that we would have any power that evening, we tried to arrange a contingency plan as we would have no lights, no air con, no cooking facilities and no way to keep our water cold in 30 degree heat. Rupert did not support us in any way at all, he didn’t offer to bring drinks, candles, torches... NOTHING! As a pregnant woman, I felt very vulnerable to the heightened chance of falling in pitch black, increased body temperature and dehydration! Highly dangerous for anyone! The following morning, after numerous texts, messages, phone calls until everyone’s phone batteries had died and 26 hours later STILL with no power, we decided enough was enough and we left the villa! We could no longer stay in an accommodation that was unsafe and dangerous! Peter (UK representative for this villa) has yet to apologise and agree to some sort of compensation and we will now be taking legal action. Save your money, DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA.
