Description from owner

Description

Set on the lower slopes of the Great Orme, Tram Station Cottage offers comfort, convenience, privacy and magnificent 180 degree views of Llandudno bay, town and Conwy mountains in the distance.

Comfort is assured in this detached four-star, three-bed cottage with two en-suites and a luxury family sized bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle.

Luxury duck-down bedding and mattress toppers enable you to customise the firmness of your bed.

Leather sofas, plasma tv, solid oak furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, digital radio, unlimited wifi and a double aspect wood burning stove combine ensure maximum comfort in the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen space.

Oak flooring and furniture throughout with carpets to the bedrooms - all on the same level.

Location, location, location! At the private gated entrance to the cottage are three local treasures 1) the Kings Head tavern and restaurant - the oldest tavern in Llandudno, 2) 'Fish Tram Chips' -an award-winning fish and chip shop and restaurant and 3) the Victoria tram station and cafe - where you embark on a steep ride up the Great Orme. In fact, Tram Station Cottage takes its name from its famous neighbor - the Victorian tram.

Parking is a premium in Llandudno but the cottage has parking for three cars behind a private gated drive.

Privacy is paramount on your holiday. Outside, three private gardens enclose the Cottage. To the left is your own private BBQ patio area with views over the west shore and Conwy; to the right, a private lawned garden with summer house and decked patio area looking down into stunning Llandudno bay and town. Mature shrubs and plants enclose this south facing cottage. There is ample seating throughout the gardens to follow the sun all day long. Secure storage facilities also available for bikes and buggies.

Please note that whilst the cottage is all on one level on the very lower slopes of the Great Orme, it might not be appropriate for the less-abled because of its elevated position.

Tram Station Cottage is fully booked until November 2016, but offers a great choice of early bird availability across 2017.

Booking with the proprietor who personally oversees the cottage.

Llandudno is a seaside Victorian town, set in the beautiful North Wales cost. In this part of the word, the emphasis is on sea views, award winning sandy beaches, walks, spectacular mountains, castles, retail therapy and fish and chips. LLandudno offers two sandy beaches. The North beach envelopes the beautiful bay of Llandudno with its lengthy promenade and elegant pier. The West shore beach is renowned for its spectacular sunsets over the isle of Anglesey. The town is enveloped by the Great Orme headland, a wildlife-rich country park and special area of conservation, a herd of Kashmir goats, numerous walking paths, a dry-ski slope, toboggan and the special landscaped gardens of the Happy Valley.
