Description
A converted windmill and annex with a 10 x 6 metre pool situated on a 1000 m2 walled plot giving perfect privacy and 360 views of the surrounding countryside. Just a 15 minute walk to the town centre with its bars, cafes, restaurants and shops and a 15 minute drive to the popular coastal resort of Vila Nova de Milfontes. The mill has a cosy lounge with a wood burner for those cooler months, an ensuite double bedroom and a single bedroom with bunk beds and adjoining toilet with wash basin. The annex which is across the patio from the mill has a large kitchen diner equipped with a pellet burner, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The attractive gardens have several seating areas and a purpose built BBQ for those warm summer evenings.

“Late summer visit”
Within its own walled compound, the windmill is a wonderful place to stay. Near to shops and cafes and only minutes from the sea it commands wonderful views over the surrounding area.

“Nice peaceful and quiet place.”
Buildings are a bit dated, but if you are looking for a quiet place from where you can make all kind of trips (to the ocean, to nice walks and so on) this is a perfect place to stay.

I agree that the buildings are dated, but for us the fact that the mill is over a hundred years old and maintains many of its original features is part of its charm.
