Description
Edzell is an architect designed holiday house situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Jindabyne. The house looks directly across the water to a panoramic view of the Australian Snowy Mountains. The house is set within a very large landscaped garden full of native plants which attract many types of beautiful Australian birds. The grounds also have a half tennis court, swing set and water frontage. The house has many stone features including a three way granite fireplace, a granite bar and high ceilings. Many rooms have magnificent views and offer a daily show of sunsets, changing weather, flying ducks or moving clouds.
The region offers a wide range of outdoor activities including alpine and cross country skiing in winter and trout fishing, high country walking, horse riding, golf, sailing and mountain biking in summer. The nearby township of Jindabyne has a variety of shops, restaurants and services.
Edzell is unique accommodation for a special winter or summer holiday in Australia.

Response from the owner Summer visitors from the USA are very welcome guests at Edzell. The many mountain walks in the alpine high plains are very beautiful and popular. Holidaying at Lake Jindabyne during the Christmas/New Year period is a great way to escape the cold weather in the northern hemisphere. Lake Jindabyne is also stocked with Atlantic Salmon - some of which have also been caught and photographed. Having returning guests is a one of our primary aims and very important to us.
