Description
We welcome you to their country cottage of the "marais poitevin" in the South - Vendee. This "gîte" is situated in a rural hamlet of Baude 2km from Montreuil , 12 km from Fontenay the Comte and only 45km from la Faute sur mer and the beaches and 60 km from la Rochelle .
This ancient farm of 130 m2 was completely renovated in 2002 with the concept to keep the architecture of the region and to create a very comfortable and warm country house. The fuel fired central heating allows the gîte to be opened all year long. Optional length of stay a weekend, one week or more …

The extensive grounds contains a swimming pool shared with the owner. The pool (10x5m, depth 1.20 to 2m) .

. For you to discover from the doorstep of the gîte, the countryside around " the gite de Baude" is ideally suited to easy walking and cylcling.
Two footpaths allow you to discover the fauna and the flora of the marais poitevin.
several cycle-tracks give you the opportunity to discover the architectural heritage of the marais poitevin and its charming villages .
When wandering about you will find the abbey of Maillezais within 10 km along with the convent of Nieul .They tell you the history of the country and life of the maraichins.
In the surroundings
Mervent , Vouvant with their forests where you can go fishing or swimming and with their guided footpaths and mountain bikes-tracks are worthwhile.
The Atlantic coast with cities like La Rochelle(60 km away) and les Sables d'Olonne with their islands like Ile de R é and Fort Boyard are beauties .
The marais poitevin with its waterways where you can go canoeing and horse-riding : boating trips, canoes : you can hire small boats with or without a guide and punt your way around the small canals and tributaries.

Bienvenue dans notre gîte situé dans un hameau du Marais Poitevin en vendée à 45 mn de la Rochelle, île de Ré et 1h du Puy du fou.Situé à 6 km de la sortie 8 del'autoroute A83...........
.4chambres dont 1 au rez de chaussée et 3 salles d'eau vous permettent de vous retrouver entre amis ou en famille.
Le gîte dispose :
-dune piscine de 10x5 , privée .
-d' Une terrasse avec salon de jardin, bains de soleil, barbecue
-d'Un préau avec table de ping-pong et jeux divers extérieurs et intérieurs.
-d'un grand espace couvert pour vous permettre de prendre vos repas à l'extérieur.

Le gîte est situé à 6 km de la sortie 8 de l'autoroute A83.
L'aéroport de la Rochelle est à 45 mn
Tout le matériel de puériculture à disposition .
Le terrain de tennis est situé à 2 kms, son accès est libre et gratuit.
Pêche et embarcadère dans un rayon de 5 kms.
Nous vous conseillerons également sur les randonnées possibles autour du gîte ,à pied et à vélo....cartes IGN et guides à disposition avec de Nombreuses informations touristiques sur des lieux incontournables .....
Pour les amateurs de randonnées vous trouverez tous les circuits autour du gîte : circuits dans le marais poitevin ,en forêt , et sur la côte atlantique située à 45 mn du gîte
Les tarifs sont fonction de la saison.POur location week end en dehors de la haute saison , n'hésitez pas à nous envoyer un message pour connaître nos disponibilités et nos tarifs.
La taxe de sejour est réglé en fin de sejour du 01 juin au 30 septembre .(pour personnes de plus de 13 ans)
Un forfait ménage de 50 euros est demandé si les locataires n'effectuent pas le ménage avant leur départ
Le chauffage et production d'eau chaude en basse et moyenne saison est en supplément , en fonction de la consommation
