Description

A modern two bedroom apartment occupying the entire top floor of our private villa. It is located on the seafront and has a huge veranda, perfect for al fresco dining while enjoying spectacular views of the Messinian Bay. Every room has a sea view and you can hear the lapping of the waves.

The apartment is accessed via an outdoor staircase with its own private entrance and has secure parking (free of charge).

It is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, books, and more. It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioner in each of the two bedrooms and a fan in the kitchen/living area.

The apartment sleeps 4 persons comfortably and during the summer months it is perfect for a family of 4 persons or two couples.

During the winter months it is more suitable for 2 persons since the kitchen/living area is compact and al fresco dining may not be possible.

There are rocks in the sea in front of the villa, but you can swim at one of two small beaches to the right and the left of the property about 100 meters away, or visit plenty of other beaches a few minutes drive from the apartment.

The property is located just 20 km (12.5 miles) from Kalamata International Airport and half an hour away from Koroni, Kalamata, and Pylos. It is also conveniently located to visit several important archaeological sites: Ancient Messini is 40 minutes away, Ancient Pylos is a 50 minute drive, while Ancient Olympia, the Archaeological sites of Mystras, and that of Mycanae are all about 1.5 hours away. Moreover, you can observe archeologists at work right in Petalidi, digging up the remains of Ancient Koroni.

If you are interested in nature the Polylimnios Waterfalls are a short 15 minute drive, Gialova lagoon is 35 minutes away, while Voidokilia Beach (one of the most beautiful in Greece) is 45 minutes away.

You can do most (or all) of your shopping in Petalidi, which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. However, for sightseeing and for exploring beaches you will need a car.
