Description
Located in the prestigious Chamonix Valley, Montroc is a small village of about 100 inhabitants, at the beginning of the 19th century houses. Argentière is 5 minutes and Chamonix at 15 mn.
Imagine yourself at the corner of fire, or in the outdoor jacuzzi after a day of skiing, admiring the magnificent view on the Mont Blanc and the other summits of the massif...
The chalet is South-facing and is on three levels, 2 are reserved for you. 3rd, garden level, is completely independent and we résiderons.
The cottage, surrounded by a large garden of 4000 m², has 10 large rooms, including 8 rooms (6 are facing South with view on the Mont Blanc) and can accommodate up to 18 people. Each room has washbasin.

“Incredible homely ski chalet, wonderful views, attentive host”
Christophie and Tiphanie's "Chalet Jomain" is a wonderful large chalet - great for groups and families. It is incredibly well equipped in the kitchen with more glass-wear, cutlery, crockery and cooking pots/pans/dishes/tools/fondue/racelette than you could possibly use - even if the chalet was full with 18 people staying. The open-plan living area, leading to dining room and kitchen is wonderful and homely - very relaxing and easy to stay and use with big groups. There is a good hi-fi system and wifi too, and even a disco ball! The beds are comfortable, and with a sink in every room this makes things easier, as the only slight reservation is the limited number of shared toilets and showers (but this was OK actually). The attic room (3 beds, sleeping upto 4) had incredible views, and had a unique character, but was accessible via steps, which might be challenging for some people, but only if you are frail. The views from the windows were worth it though! However... we had 15 adults in the chalet - 5 couples and 5 people who where single, but everything was perfect!!! Christophe was very friendly and helpful (he lives below), but was not imposing. he helped with accepting and unloading an online supermarket shop for us so all food was packed in the kitchen when we arrived - amazing service. He even kindly bought us bread for our arrival! There were also re-loadable ski passes for everyone to use to save everyone purchasing the "card" which is usually €3each (saved us €45) - we had to pay for the ski pass - obviously! Very regular bus service within 5mins walk form the chalet to both Le Tour (5mins) and Argentiere (7mins) ski areas and Chamonix (30mins) if needed. This was a work-related trip and many people attending said they would love to come back to Montroc! I would have no hesitation recommending this Chalet and coming back.

“Great ski holidays”
Christopher and his family welcomed us and their house is lovely decorated, comfortable and cosy. The outdoor hot tub in the snow is a surprising bonus.
