Description

The villa West for 10 persons has a great location as is set in a quiet street, approx. 95m. away to the sandy cove Cala D'Or and 110m. to Cala D'Or centre. The exterior is spacious and quiet.

The villa West is a typical Ibiza style villa full of natural light furnished with an eclectic style, a nice combination of new and old. The villa has different levels as it's built on a small slope. From the garden we access to the hall and to the airy living/dining room with French doors opening onto the partially covered terrace overlooking the pool area. The kitchen is bright and boasts a dining area; an original built semi-circle shaped table. On this floor there is also a double and a twin bedroom; both have access to the terrace and share a shower-room. From the living/dining room stairs take us to the upper floor where is the open master bedroom with a spacious shower-room. This bedroom enjoys a lot of natural light, is spacious and has access to a large private sun terrace with sun beds; and ideal spot to relax.

Outside, from the side of the villa we go down a few steps and access to the lowest level where the pool is. On this level by the pool there is a small apartment simply furnished. As we enter the apartment from the pool terrace we find small kitchen with a table and two sofas. There is also a small twin bedroom and a double bedroom that share a small shower-room. At the side of the house, from the exterior we find the laundry room that has also a shower and a toilet.

“Good but not great”

The villa is in a very good location.les than 5 minutes stroll to a lovely beach and 2 minutes to the cafes and restaurants.A couple of minor issues were swiftly deslt with by the manager who was very pleasant and happy to help but an issue we had was the air conditioning.it was almost a stifling 40 C and could not get the air con on so i called the management office but was told it was pre set to come on between 9 pm and 9am but not during the day which was disappointing as we had three small children and could not get them anywhere to cool down.the pool area was very nice but there were lots of safety issues like severe drops into a lower garden and on another side a big drop on to next doors driveway so we had to be aware and lay sunbeds on their sides to stop them falling in.there are lots of steps to navigate and i had difficulty using them having recently had surgery.on the middle floor there is a fabulous terrace where we sat ate and drank into the night which was our favourite part of the villa.If you are thinking of booking i would say do not with very small children or people with disabilities and not in peak hot summer months.I would definitely use it again but only when the children are older.I must mentio apolonia who answered al my questions swiftly and efficiently before we travelled.
