Description

This brand new 2-bedroom apartment is located just 150m from the beautiful promenade of Bugibba, St Paul's Bay. It is located in a block of self-catering holiday apartments (penthouses, 1 and 2-bedroom flats).

The apartment has 2 separate bedrooms with 3 single beds in each bedroom, living room with chaise longue, kitchen and dining area and bathroom with shower.

We can also provide an extra bed in the living room.

Facilities:

Fast and unlimited WiFi internet and digital TV - IPTV (with several different international channels) are provided, free of charge.

Well equipped kitchen including oven, toaster, Microwave, Percolator, 4 gas hobs, fridge freezer, etc.

Hair Dryer, iron and ironing board and Washing machine.

Cots, highchairs and extra beds are available on request.

Fans are provided in each room.

A big gas heater and electric heaters are also provided in Winter.

Towels and bed sheets are provided.

Baggage room available at no extra cost

Please note that in the weekly price of the property utilities are included as per below:

These consumptions for water, gas, and electricity should be more than sufficient for normal use for a week.

“Modern flat near the sea”

Spacious flat with all mod-cons. Sleeping for six, if you use the sofa bed too. Bathroom very basic with just a curtain around shower. Had to report that shower leaked. Flat has two views of sea and overlooks a side street. Easy to air it out. Walking distance 5 mins. to sea and 10 mins. to Bugibba centre. Small shops on every street. Bugibba is in prime location in St. Paul's Bay, not far from the Aquarium. But Bugibba is very dirty and run-down...litter, dog mess, pot holes! Also a big let-down for me was how cold the flat was during my winter stay December till March. I kept asking for a better heating system. My first month's bill was over €250 for utilities. The landlord was more worried about mould, and indeed one bedroom got it.

Response from the manager Thank you for your review. As you well stay the apartment is modern, new and excellently located. Restaurants, shops, bus stops, etc are all located within easy walking distance. The streets of Bugibba are getting a huge make over starting from this month and all the roads will be redone. For the heating, as explained to you even before you arrived in Malta, none of the Maltese houses and apartments have central heating. This is all over Malta, not just our apartment. This is the way we Maltese live and it is part of our culture. Our Winters are mild and very short - we get the cold weather for only the months of January and February. We use gas heating to warm up when it s cold. We also gave you several electric heaters to warm up the bedrooms. Since for the first month you left the electric heaters switched on day and night 24 hrs a day, this resulted in a high bill. We suggest that for Winter long stays warm clothes are worn inside, like we maltese do, and warm up the room where you will be staying the time you are in the apartment. Heating should be switched off when not in the apartment to avoid having high bills. Thank you for having stayed with us. ruth and neville .
