Description

The Beach Apartment is a ground floor, one bedroom apartment in the award winning Nautilus building in Westward Ho! It has private parking in the secure, adjacent car park to the rear of the property. The Kitchen/living area has an excellent range of facilities including a Smart TV, Unlimited Wi-Fi, table and chairs, granite work tops and a range of integrated appliances including fridge with ice box, electric oven and hob, with Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. The apartment boasts stunning sea views of the Atlantic Ocean and towards Lundy Island- ideal for watching the changing tide or weather. Outside there is a decking area with table and chairs.

A sofa bed, travel cot and highchair are available on request. There is one bedroom with a King size bed, wardrobe and dressing table. The bathroom with shower over the bath also contains washing machine facilities. Towels and linen are provided.

The apartment is a stone's throw from the 2 mile 'blue flag' beach at Westward Ho! excellent for surfing, sand castles or a pleasant stroll. The coastal path passes by the front of the building. It makes a great base for exploring all that North Devon offers including golden sandy beaches, the historic towns of Bideford and Barnstaple, numerous tourist attractions including the Royal North Devon Golf Club, tennis courts, horse riding, the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, Tapeley Park and Gardens, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal and much more. or if you don't want to venture too far you have a choice of restaurants, cafes and takeaways on the doorstep in Westward Ho!

We have stayed in this app 3 times and love it,everything you need is included,even a washing machine,It is directly opposite the beach and has shops around the corner,It is a great base to visit cornwall and the rest of north devon,Highly recommend this app ,we will be booking again for next year.

Fabulous location right on the sea front but quiet and relaxing. Apartment is perfect location, well decorated and equipped for a holiday stay. Spotlessly clean. Direct access to beautiful walks on cliff path, beach and further afield for the more adventurous. Small selection of shops and eateries. Just a few steps to Rock Pool Cafe for excellent coffee and Tea on the Green for lunch both excellent with great customer service. Highly recommend. Contrary to previous review, I felt very safe in this apartment. There is a locked main door into communal passage (access to just 2 properties) then 2nd locked internal door into The Beach Apartment, also secure parking for my car.

Response from the owner I am trying to get Trip Advisor to remove this review as it is full of inaccuracies and untruths. Hopefully other guests will be able to see from other peoples reviews that this one is totally different. Unlike our other guests this guest was hugely demanding from booking and throughout her stay with literally hundreds of messages and calls to both myself and my housekeeper. She seems to have chosen to write this 6 months after her stay, out of the blue- perhaps if it was really that terrible she would have written a bit sooner! Other guests should use their judgement to decide whether or not they believe it!

This apartment is beautiful , it's situated right on the sea front and has easy access to all local shops and restaurants right on the door step . It is spotlessly clean with lovely decor . The apartment provides everything you need . You are provided with gated car parking . We would highly recommend it to everyone .

“Our stay”

We had a fabulous time! We picked the perfect weekend, weather wise, and turned out the perfect place to stay too! Right in the middle of everything, great bars and restaurants literally steps away. Apartment has everything you need and sat in the sun on the terrace was great. A passer by stopped to tell us 'you have the perfect spot here', she was right, we truely did.
