Relax in The Beautiful Tamar Valley @
Dragonfly Cottage, a self contained 2 Bedroom , (2 level) dwelling, set on a 55 acre bush property called "Dragonfly Ridge"
The property is located on a ridge with outstanding 360 deg views of the Tamar River, Batman Bridge and surrounds.
Lovely gardens around the cottage, ( herb and vegetable gardens, fruit trees and free range hens that supply our fresh eggs ) .
Native bush surrounds provide privacy and a peaceful relaxing atmosphere (.Bush walks, see local wildlife and birds in the surrounding native bush).
Main residence is located nearby, however guests have complete privacy.
The cottage is outfitted with quality furniture and fittings, Heating is a cosy log fire (or gas heating ).
Breakfast hamper supplies for the first night are included in price.
Dragonfly Cottage can be a retreat to relax and do as little as you wish or used as a base to explore the many and varied attractions in the area.( ie. explore the many natural attractions , the Tamar river, nearby mountains/gorges, beaches. Go sailing ,fishing ,bike riding , hiking & bush walks. Visit local wineries and sample wines, art galleries and museums ) or dine at restaurants located nearby. All within easy travelling distance from Dragonfly Cottage.
Local facilities at Exeter, ( only 6 kms away.)
Launceston city with its many attractions only 30 mins drive away.
Launceston airport and the Devonport ferry are approx 45mins drive,
