A beautifully styled 2 bedroom cottage within Manor Farm, Guillemot Cottage at Buckton village sits close to Bridlington seaside, within easy reach of Filey, RSPB Bempton Cliffs and the spectacular Flamborough Head Heritage Coast. Ideal for the Yorkshire Wolds and Scarborough and only an hour from York, the cottage has two en-suite bedrooms making it a great option for families or two couples sharing.

Brimming with character features including exposed oak beams, smoked pine flooring and a cosy woodburning stove, we welcome one well trained dog in the property which is surrounded by 5 acres of fields perfect for dog walking.

Free WiFi, ample off road parking and garden with summer house and BBQ are all included. Guillemot Cottage is single storey and sleeps 4 guests with ease in a twin bedroom (with TV) with 2 full sized single beds and a double room. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities, one featuring a bath with a shower over and one with a spacious wide shower cubicle.

Luxurious open plan living space includes a modern fitted kitchen area with a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The sitting room area contains comfy sofa and armchair seating, Freeview TV, bluetooth sound bar and a DVD player as well as a wood burning stove for extra cosy evenings.

We have worked hard to provide an outside environment where you can BBQ in Guillemot's garden, take a relaxing sunset drink in the summer house. Further afield on our 5 acre site there are sheep, chickens and bees as well as visiting barn owls and an array of hedgerow birds. We have a wildflower meadow walk up to a picnic bench where you can rest, enjoy the view and let the wildlife come to you.

Rental options are week rents Friday to Friday and short breaks Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday.

Getting around

We are perfectly located for trips to Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, Hull and The Wolds. Whilst a car is useful it is not essential as a regular bus service runs by the property. We also have a train station in the adjacent village (20 min walk) which runs up and down the coastline.

Interaction with guest

We are in the farm house on site and are happy to see you into your cottage and be there to answer any questions if needed. We have two children so have a good knowledge of places to visit in the area. Kerry works as the lineside conservation officer at the NYMR railway and can help guest to choose the best time to visit and the the opportunities to see wildlife. We offer guests to Manor Farm Cottages the chance to use our Dalby Accommodation forest pass allowing one car free entry into the Forest.
