Description

Hampton House is a traditional Newfoundland salt-box style home, fully renovated in 2012. The home was originally built in 1926---the date is even inscribed on one of the overhead beams.

The home is located on the edge of the beautiful town of Bonavista. The major sites are a short walk from the property. All rooms offer a view of the ocean. You can awaken to the sound and smell of the waves, enjoy sunsets over the water, and easy beach access. Whales and icebergs make regular appearances.

A vehicle is recommended for touring close to home and around the penninsula. Free parking is available on-site.

The house is cozy beyond words. Amenities include satellite TV, wireless internet, DVD player with assortment of movies. The kitchen is fully equiped with utensils, cookware, dishes, oven, microwave and basic supplies. Both upstairs bedrooms have ocean views and come with quality linens/pillows/duvets/quilts.

Comfort, history, nature and charm make for a wonderful vacation, whether busy or restive, All that is needed is...........YOU.

Felt like a Newfoundlander in this adorable house in a spectacular location - you have the ocean in your front yard! It's also convenient to all the local attractions!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jeff and Stephanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
