Description

Dove Cottage is a Romantic 1 bedroom grade 2 listed cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location, in a undiscovered part of the Cotswolds, nestled in rural lanes within the quiet village of Bisley.

Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen, dining and living area with a wood burner and underfloor heating, making it incredibly cosy in the winter! The stable doors look out to the small courtyard garden, with beautiful views, and a pretty garden. The sofa turns into a generous sofa bed for overnight guests

A short spiral staircase leads to a characterful bedroom, with exposed Cotswold Stone, and huge beams. The En-suite bathroom is beautifully tiled with more exposed stone and oak beams, and a luxury shower.

We provide a fantastic welcome basket including homemade bread, local cheeses, and local chutney, fresh fruit, teas and coffees.

Delicious homemade Meals can be provided in the form of frozen ready meals, made by Vanessa (additional cost), meaning you can always get a meal whatever time you arrive!

It is great walking country - good access to The Cotswold Way. Idyllic country pubs, and local towns Cirencester, Cheltenham, Gloucester are all within 20 minutes away.

A car is necessary as the public bus service is very limited.

Interaction with guest

We live directly next door, so are always on hand to help with your enquiries. We do have access through your garden, to enter our property, but we are always discreet, and the dogs give you a warm welcome! Parking is street parking with no street lights. The upstairs bathroom, and spiral staircase make disabled access difficult.
